Please remember that Forest Road, Lydney to Whitecroft will be closed from Monday 9th February for 6 months.
Access is still available to us from Bream, Yorkley, Pillowell and Parkend.
Please allow extra time when attending for MOTs.

As we all no forest road is being shut for six months from Monday the 9th February for repairs . Just to let our customers know we are still open for business and you can get to us via bream parkend and pillowell there are diversion signs being put out

Full road closure: B4234 Forest Road between Lydney and Whitecroft, from 7am on Monday 9 February 2026 for a period of up to seven months.

Access to properties and businesses will be maintained but passage through the work area will not be possible and a signed diversion route will be implemented.

Essential work is required to address significant land subsidence on the Forest Road. We understand that this prolonged closure of this route will cause inconvenience to local residents, businesses and commuters, and we sincerely apologise for the disruption. Please be assured that everyone involved is working hard to complete the repairs safely and reopen the road as soon as possible.
