I expect some of you have heard rumours about the training school, well they are true. I am closing the training school after 21 years to have a bit more family time. It's got to a stage where something has to give and I have decided that it is time to hang up my boots!! xx :) So I am not taking any more bookings for tests/ DAS courses and have a few CBT certificates left which I will use up in the next few weeks xx There are so many people I have met over the years through training them and getting them their full licences', I know I am going to miss a lot of people but we can go out for a ride now without me breathing down your necks :) 😂🤣😅 I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has come to me for training and I hope you are all still safe on those bikes ### I have met some fantastic people and hope to stay in touch with you all ### 🏍🛵🏍❤️❤️❤️💔💔💔

Another Christmas upon us...... come round far too quick these days. I must be getting old ;) Merry Christmas to all of my wonderful pupils this year and there has been some very special ones too ### I would like to wish everyone a safe biking New Year and stay safe all of 2016 xx :)

I have been asked a few times recently about the A2 licence, (mid range) and what people can ride afterwards and what happens to the licence later on. So here it is..........
Once you have passed the A2 on a bike of 395cc or above and no more than 35kws you can then ride any size of bike but must be restricted to 35kws, so no cc restriction but power restricted if applicable.
You can take an A2 at 19 years of age, after two years it DOES NOT become a full bike licence but you can then take the Direct Access, on a bike of 595cc or above, then take Mod 1 & 2 again which will then gain you your full bike licence. So taking the A2 could get you on to any size of bike at the age of 21, if you don't take the A2 you have to wait until you are 24 to take the Direct Access.

Bloody Hell that year went far too quick, I would like to wish all my pupils from this year, and every year a very Merry Christmas (but not if your on the bike next day!!) and a fantastic New Year.
