I’ve updated my working hours moving forward to better structure my diary and maintain a high standard of lessons.

These are now my regular availability for new bookings.

Existing pupils:
Any lessons already booked outside of these times will continue as planned — no changes to your current bookings.

Polite reminder - Lesson Policy 🚘

Just a quick reminder of my lesson policy to keep things running smoothly for everyone.

👉 A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for any cancellations or changes
👉 Lessons cancelled without 48 hours notice are charged at the full rate
👉 Missed lessons / no shows are fully chargeable
👉 Repeated short-notice cancellations may result in loss of your regular slot

These guidelines are in place to protect my time and ensure availability for all pupils.

With all these changes coming in, it’s more important than ever to listen to your instructor — we know when you’re genuinely ready for your test, not just when a slot pops up 👀

Rushing it or booking too early could cost you one of those limited changes, so let’s get you properly prepared and give you the best shot at passing first time 💪

We’re putting learners in control of their car driving test bookings 🚘

If you’ve got a booking or you’ll be looking for a test soon, make a note of these dates 📅

31 March 2026 – only 2 changes can be made to a booking

12 May 2026 – only learners are allowed to book a test and make changes

9 June 2026 – learners can move their booked test only to nearby centres

By changing who can book car and change driving tests, we’re aiming to reduce the re-selling of driving tests, giving the power back to learners 💪

🚗 Driving Instructor Day 🚗

Today celebrates the people who spend their days helping others learn one of the biggest life skills there is — driving.

The day marks the anniversary of the very first official UK driving test back on 16th March 1935, and it’s all about recognising the dedication of driving instructors who work hard to make our roads safer.

Being a driving instructor isn’t just about teaching someone to steer a car or pass a test. It’s about building confidence, teaching responsibility, and helping people gain the freedom that comes with being able to drive.

I’m proud to be part of a profession that helps shape safer drivers every single day.

To all my fellow instructors out there — keep doing the great work 👏
And to all the learners past and present — thanks for trusting us to guide you on the journey.

Huge congratulations to Freya Ashdown who sailed through her driving test this morning first time with ZERO driver faults. Had to be done as I taught her brother 6 years ago and he also passed first time with zero driver faults!

Now go enjoy your new found freedom girlie 🚘

Only had the one test booked for Feb so now to get the next cohort ready for their tests ✔️

Key Changes to the Booking System (Effective 2026)

*Learner Only Booking: Only the learner driver can book their test; driving instructors will no longer be able to book on their behalf.

* Limited Rescheduling: Learners are allowed a maximum of TWO changes, currently it’s 6 (date or time) to their booked appointment, swapping between pupils will be classed as a change.

* Location Restrictions: Test appointments can only be moved to centres near the original location.

* Anti-Bot Measures: Enhanced security, such as GOV.UK One Login, will be used to verify identities and prevent automated systems from bulk-booking slots.

* Reduced Reselling: These measures are designed to prevent commercial services from booking and reselling tests at high prices.

Check out the table below to see when each of these measures are due to be implemented. This applies to all tests that have been booked as well as future tests.

Your Instructor is a professional and you are paying them for their experience, expertise & knowledge, so trust their judgement and only book a test when they have advised you to do so.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Christmas and to thank you all for your support & understanding in what’s been a tough year, but we pulled through and have had amazing results - a whopping 89% first time pass rate!
