The smile says it all!

This delightful young man did himself proud today and passed his driving test with total ease!

A slight hitch en route with poppy’s gears but it didn’t get in the way of the test. A huge phew for me and a great result for Owen!

It’s been an absolute pleasure Owen, here’s to your future plans to join the fire service and a lifetime of safe, happy motoring ahead!

I’ll be ‘out of office’ spending quality time with my girls.
The teens and the floofs!

I also want to say congratulations and good luck to my school leavers who are officially starting study leave in preparation for their onward journey, wherever that may be.
This includes my own daughter, although not yet a school leaver but who embarks on her Nat 5’s after the Easter break.
You are all Amazing! 🤩

I’ve seen how hard you all work, how you’re always willing to try your best and how you are flourishing into confident young adults. And I’m privileged to be a small part in that. 🚗

Do your best, stay focused on your goals and the results will speak for themselves ☺️

The smile says it all!

The biggest of congratulations to Megan for passing her driving test this afternoon at Irvine tc.
An incredible drive and you finally got the licence you’ve been chasing for a wee while now!

I’m so proud, it was definitely one of the most emotional passes to date.

Megan and I go a long way back, lockdowns, breakdowns, (mostly me😂) big gaps, long chats, theory test repeats and everything in between!

It’s been an absolute honour to teach you, I’m so grateful to you for sticking it, and me out to achieve what you have today.

Enjoy car shopping and mostly, enjoy the freedom and independence you’ve worked tirelessly for.
Costa and Greggs trips won’t be the same without you ☕️

Brilliant result Megan and thoroughly deserved my friend.

Get ready for the driving test booking rule changes. 🚗👇

From 31 March 2026, learner drivers and approved driving instructors (ADIs) will only be able to make 2 changes to a practical car driving test booking.

A change includes:
- changing the date or time
- changing the test centre
- swapping a test between 2 learners

If you’re an ADI, we’d encourage you to make sure your pupils only book their test when they’re ready to take it and in a location they can easily travel to.

📢 The rules for booking a practical car driving test are changing.

From 31 March 2026, learner drivers and approved driving instructors (ADIs) will only be able to change a driving test booking up to 2 times.

A change includes:
- changing the date or time
- changing the test centre
- swapping an appointment with another learner

If you’re an ADI, please make sure your pupils only book their test when they’re ready as swapping between pupils will count towards this limit. You can set times when you're available to take your pupils to their driving tests. This stops your pupils from booking tests at times that do not work for you.

👉 When this comes into force, everyone with a driving test booked will have 2 changes available, regardless of how many changes they may have already made.

This change is part of the outcome of our consultation to improve the way driving tests are booked.

A really lovely visit yesterday from a recently passed pupil, she drove over!

Thankyou so much for the gifts.
I’m so grateful.
I don’t do my job for gifts but it definitely makes me smile to see how confident and independent my pupils are post test.

I love what I do, I get the privilege of meeting some truly wonderful humans and they put their trust in me and my teaching them to become confident, capable and safe drivers.

Test day is the main event, it’s a nervous time for everyone, including me!
We’ve worked hard together, the skills are perfect, the confidence is their knowledge and it’s knowing how ready they are, that usually gets them through.
Test day, I’m your biggest cheerleader and when you get that well deserved pass, I’m delighted and proud of you all!
