Insurance repair through NFU Mutal. It’s what you don’t see that matters most in a good structural repair.

A rear quarter panel had previously been badly mig welded in, joined straight through the arch in the worst possible place. Filler in the joints cracking, exposed areas rusting, poorly sealed with no internal corrosion protection, leaving a damp cavity and the start of a nasty internal corrosion problem.

Caught in the nick of time though luckily. Now with a new quarter panel bonded and spot welded, sealed and protected in all the right places for a water tight repair.

An Insurance repair through Privilege, one we weren’t expecting to see again so soon! Nevertheless, exactly the type of work we love and a great opportunity to re spray the rest of the car.

Lots of technical work including a lovely reinforced and bonded anti corrosion joint at the sill, courtesy of BMW’s ingenious repair methods. A huge pile of OEM parts too long to list, but including suspension arms, rear hub, wheel bearing and carrier, rear bumper, quarter panel and a new wheel.

Minor repairs to the front bumper, wing, inner rear arch and rear panel. Full side painted along with the bonnet, front and rear bumpers, tailgate and two wheels.

An insurance repair through Direct Line on this Audi A4 in Metallic white. Bonnet, both front wings, drivers door, windscreen and some chrome trim replaced with some minor repairs to the roof. Very nearly a complete respray with both sides painted front to back, along with the roof, front bumper and new bonnet.

An Insurance repair this week through Admiral. Nice and straightforward with a new rear wing bonded and spot welded to look absolutely factory and give it the best anti corrosion protection possible. New tail light and corner panel, rear bumper, tail light and a mudflap. Tailgate painted to make the whole rear end look like brand new and as always, only OEM parts used in our repairs.

Insurance repair through Aviva in on Monday and completed today by a great team effort. Some very careful jig work to pull the rear panels and quarter straight was needed on this one.

Full quarter panel, both rear doors and trims, both bumper corners and sliding door rail cover painted for a seamless repair.

New parts: one bumper corner, one bracket, one hinge, a taillight, two rear panel vents and a clear stonechip protection decal for the lower arch.

Insurance repair through E sure. Lexus CT 200 Hybrid. One of three insurance repairs completed this week, this by far the easiest. New front bumper, two brackets, headlight, headlight washer mechanism and cover, and a little realignment.

Awesome metallic black with special pigments, blended in perfectly and the whole front end lacquered including the bonnet for a seamless repair.

Insurance repair through Zurich completed this week. Nice and easy with a new rear wing, rear panel, corner capping, outer arch, a couple of brackets, rear lights and some tidying up on the rear crossmember.

While it was in it had a good rub down all over to get rid of all the flaking lacquer. The worst of the dents and corrosion taken care of and some fresh paint/lacquer to make it look like new again.

All the rusty bumpers and trims were stripped off and sent off for sand blasting and powder coating, the wheels and grills refurbished, a new set of side steps fitted and lots of cavity wax. Not a full blown strip down and restoration but a great overall result on the budget we were given.

Beers AND chocolates from the customer too.....thank you!

Insurance repair through Aviva completed today.

Mitsubishi ASX with a new wing, drivers door, upper and lower hinges, wing liner, lots of new clips and fixings and a minor repair on the rear door edge.

As always, full side painted, inc. wing mirror cover and handles. Front bumper corner blended.....and of course....a machine polish on the rest of the panels to bring it up like new.

Another insurance repair through Ageas last week. BMW X1 in Mineral Grey Metallic, hit by a Motorcycle. Luckily everyone was totally fine.

A repair vs cutting out the quarter panel was absolutely the right way to go on this one, leaving all the factory welds and structure 100% original and intact.

As always, full side blended/lacquered and a machine polish on the rest of the vehicle to even up the gloss levels.

If you’re on two wheels.....ride safe!

An insurance repair this week through Admiral. Spending the extra hours fussing over all the tiny details that really elevate a job and doing everything possible to leave absolutely no trace of a repair is what we love to do. Check out the external sealer lines to cover the two panel joints....factory perfect!

An Insurance repair through Privilege. Couldn’t wait to get stuck in to this one! Bmw 330d Msport in Estoril Blue. New wing, liner, front and rear doors, side skirt, M performance front splitter, side skirt lip and decal. Small repair on the b post and full side painted.....and we couldn’t help ourselves but machine polish the rest of the car.

Skilled panel be**er or painter preferred but semi skilled, someone looking for a career change with transferable skills or trainee all considered.
