Friendly and professional driving lessons in Somerset & Wells for all ages and abilities. I especially welcome nervous or anxious drivers.

Professional and relaxed driving tuition for any ability, including complete beginners. Whatever your current driving ability may be, I will help you to prepare for and pass the UK driving test. My ultimate aim though, is to make you a safe, competent and confident driver. If you have already passed your test but lost your confidence, or perhaps had an extended break from driving, then I can also help with refresher lessons. Contact me for more details.

Huge congratulations to Trina McCoy on a fabulous first time Friday pass at WSM test centre last week. All the more impressive as she kept it a secret from her family throughout the process. Enjoy your freedom! 🚘 🙌 🥳

I really feel for my students who have had to deal with the most ridiculous waiting times for driving tests (currently around 6 months at test centres local to me) but *please* never pay more than £62 for a weekday test or £75 for a weekend test. I can confirm that I have never been approached by one of these ‘test touts’ and if I was I’d report them immediately. It’s shocking to me that some instructors have taken these backhanders at the expense of professional instructors and poor students. 😤

Touts use instructor login details to bulk-book tests and sell them at a huge mark-up, the BBC finds.

Massive congratulations to Kieran Stott on passing your driving test first time today in great style at Taunton test centre. Now you can drive to work in a car rather than a tractor - although I’d prefer the tractor! Stay safe and very best wishes for the future 🚜 🚙 🧑‍🌾 🌽 🥳

Another brilliant first time pass. This time for Alex Halm who’s impeccable drive at Yeovil test centre on Friday really impressed his examiner. Well done Alex. 🙌 🥳 🚗

And she’s off…….a great big well done to Sophie Jackson who passed her test first time in great style at WSM test centre today. She tells me her first trip will be to surprise her grandma who had no idea that her test was today. Sophie also kept it from her friends which I think is the BEST way to do it. Just tell them when you’ve passed! Stay safe and have a fabulous summer 🙌 🚗 🥳
