Krishna Wisdom is based at ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor, Watford and is the headquarters of the Hare Krishna movement in the UK. It provides opportunities for people to begin spiritual practices and support for those on the path. The philosophy and practice is based on the Bhagavad Gita As It Is, one of the oldest books in existence, which explains how we are all spiritual beings in a material body

which is a vehicle to be used for spiritual upliftment and ultimately developing higher consciousness, or Krishna Consciousness. The process is 'Simple living, high thinking' and promotes vegetarianism, meditation, elevation of consciousness through practice of chanting mantras and developing a deeper relationship with God, Krishna - the all attractive.

What a beautiful Yoga & Sound Bath Retreat on Saturday in our newly refurbished space! 🎊

These retreats have been filling up so quickly lately, and my heart is so full seeing both familiar faces and so many wonderful new ones joining us! Thank you to everyone who helps run and also comes along to these special gatherings 💛

One of the highlights of the day was chatting with the lovely couple see in the photo. I’ve seen them attend a few of our events, and hearing them share how Krishna has been sprinkling magic into their lives was deeply inspiring! ✨ They spoke about the transformation they’ve experienced and the joy they’ve found through their spiritual journey. Conversations like these are such a beautiful reminder of why I feel so grateful to be part of this incredible community! 🙏

Saturday was also a bittersweet moment for me, as it marked my final day regularly serving at the Manor before moving back to Somerset. Looking back over the past year, I feel incredibly thankful for every soul I’ve had the privilege to meet through Krishna Wisdom. Serving this community has been a genuine blessing, and I’ve made memories and friendships that I’ll always treasure. Huge thank you to the Krishna Wisdom team for all the wonderful memories shared, I’ll miss your association, but I’m sure I’ll paths will cross again 💖

🌿 What an incredible Open Day full of so many smiles and laughter! 💚

On Saturday we welcomed around 300 visitors to explore our goshalla and farm, with many discovering the manor for the very first time. ✨

From meeting our beautiful Zebus cows, cow washing, brushing and feeding, oxen cart rides and farm tours to arts & crafts, henna, kirtan, and planting seeds, it was a day full of learning, connection, and joy. 🐄🌱✨

One of the biggest highlights was seeing so many people inspired by the loving care our cows receive and our commitment to organic farming. And of course... the Zebu experience stole the show! 🤍

A huge thank you to every volunteer, devotee, and team member who gave their time, energy, and enthusiasm to make the day such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!! 🙏

Thank you as well to everyone who came along, we can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 🌸
