The new Laser Welding division has been up and functioning for two weeks and has, with the hard work of the team, hit the ground running! Aside from car components we’ve had vintage motorcycle components, catering industry equipment, manufacturing tools and even parts from a 120 year old Purdey shotgun arrive for the high precision repair work that laser welding provides.

JSW NEWS:

The JSW Group has acquired the skills, experience and assets of EMP Tooling. Consequently JSW now have a laser welding facility in-house that allows us to repair and restore components, including cast iron and magnesium, for the automotive, aerospace and marine sectors. A brand new laser cell has been constructed within TripleM and two members of staff from EMP have joined us to maintain the quality of work that the organisation was known for. Engine blocks, cylinder heads, gearbox casings and many types of components are now repairable via the incredible precision and ultra low heat transfer, causing no distortion and intricate super clean welds, that the process is renowned for.

Just before Christmas Alistair completed this Alfa Romeo 3000CM sump for a new engine that we are creating. From solid billet to two piece sump took around 40 hours of precision machining and is now ready for final finishing before being united with the rest of the engine.

There is very little that cannot be created from billet and if a one off or short production run is required then it becomes a very effective process. If you need parts, of whatever type, creating for a project get in touch to find out how we might be able to help.

Triple M is now closed until the 5th January.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers, suppliers and associate organisations for making 2025 so successful and we are already looking forward to another busy year in 2026.
