New EV Charging Installation Complete!

ICEE EV is proud to announce the successful installation of a Rolec 40kW Dual Output DC Charger at JCB Škoda, upgrading their existing infrastructure and delivering a significant performance boost.

This new DC charger replaces a previous 22kW AC unit, enabling up to 4x faster charging speeds. The system delivers direct current (DC) charging, bypassing the vehicle’s onboard charger limitations - particularly important as most UK EVs are restricted to 11kW AC onboard charging. By supplying DC power directly to the battery, vehicles can charge substantially faster, improving turnaround times.

Upgrading from AC to DC charging is a high-impact, cost-effective way to future-proof your EV infrastructure and maximise efficiency.

Local Business, ICEE-EV Donates a Bleed Kit to Purbrook Park School

After seeing recent articles in the local and national news about how bleed kits could save the lives of young people in schools, local business - ICEE – EV; located in Waterlooville decided to buy 10 kits to generously donate to local secondary schools.

Bleed kits are essentially an advanced first-aid kit, the lightweight packs contain items like a tourniquet and trauma bandages.

Shane Thomas and Ryley Arnold from ICEE-EV, based in Waterlooville delivered the bleed kit to Purbrook Park School today to the Headteacher, Paul Foxley, who thanked them for their generosity.

Shane Thomas from ICEE – EV stated that 11 lives this year, have been saved in schools nationally due to the introduction of bleed kits.

Paul Foxley stated “The minutes following a traumatic injury are critical and having bleed control kits available could help save a life and prevent a tragedy. Although we hope that these kits will never be needed, it is important and reassuring to know they are there if required”.

He passed on his thanks to ICEE -EV on behalf of everyone at Purbrook Park School

ICEE-EV were pleased today to donate a number of bleed kits to local schools and colleges, helping ensure places of education across our area are equipped with high-quality emergency medical equipment, though we sincerely hope it’s never needed.

After seeing recent articles in the local and national news about how bleed kits could save the lives of young people in schools, we decided to buy 10 kits to generously donate to local secondary schools.

Our team delivered the kits to Crookhorn College - Official, Oaklands Catholic School, Warblington School, Park Community School, Horndean Technology College - HTC, HSDC, Purbrook Park School, Havant Academy and The Hayling College.

While we hope these kits remain unused, supporting our community and helping local organisations, whether educational institutions or businesses, remains a key goal at ICEE-EV.
