Traditional panel beating and English wheel. South Shore is a member of the Jim Stokes Workshops Group in the UK. South Shore Coachworks is the latest addition to the JSW Group of Companies. Formed in October 2011 and starting with an amazing two complete Alfa Romeo 8C bodies it is growing fast. Please visit our ‘Projects’ page to see the latest photographs of work being undertaken. South Shore ha
s been fortunate enough to secure the quality of skills required to fit in with the JSW Group having both a bodywork arm and a fabrication arm. Manufacturing anything from a battery box to complete chassis' on the fabrication side gives a range of services for the Group to manufacture a complete vehicle, restore a vehicle or accommodate minor repairs to sills, fuel tanks or fit tonneau covers to keep out the rain! South Shore has been equipped with both the latest labour saving equipment coupled with the machinery to carry out the traditional skills of English wheeling etc. With a combined skills age of in excess of 100 years, experience and high levels of both expertise and competence are passed down to the newer members of our team. South Shore is investing in skills for the future with a number of younger members of staff attending college whilst working in a professional environment. For those ‘secretive’ projects that are undertaken, two private workshop areas have been equipped to ensure that total secrecy can be given to a project, prior to delivering to our customer, giving the customer the re-assurance that the project can only be seen at his/her discretion. We have recently installed a Composite service for bodywork. Starting with two complete bodies cloned from an original, these two bodies will be top notch.
