🚐🔧 Performance Cars, Daily Drivers & Fleet Vehicles – We Do It All 🔧🚐

Whilst we’re often known for working on performance cars and carrying a huge range of specialist dealer-level software and diagnostics, what many people don’t realise is that we also provide fleet maintenance and repairs 👊

This van came into us after developing a gearbox fault and had completely lost second gear. After assessing the options, it made more sense for the owner to replace the gearbox rather than attempt a repair.

So we got straight to work:

✔️ Removed the faulty gearbox
✔️ Replaced the clutch
✔️ Replaced the flywheel
✔️ Installed a replacement gearbox
✔️ Carried out final testing and checks
✔️ Full vehicle health inspection completed

Now this van is back doing what it does best — keeping its owner on the road and back to work 💪

Whether you have:

🏁 A performance car
🚗 A daily driver
🚐 A single van
🚚 Or an entire fleet of vehicles

We have the tools, experience, diagnostics, and workshop facilities to keep you moving.

At Alcomoto, no job is too big or too small — from supercars to service vans, we treat every vehicle with the same level of care and attention.

📞 Get in touch to see how we can help keep your vehicles on the road.

🤔 Would you have spotted this?

Part 2 of the Hyundai series 👀

The moment we got this Hyundai up in the air, both Alex and I knew we’d found something that needed immediate attention.

During a routine inspection, we noticed that several suspension components appeared to have been replaced previously. Looking a little closer, we found that one of the ball joints wasn’t secured correctly and had very little thread engagement remaining. 🔍

Suddenly, the noise the customer had been hearing started to make a lot more sense.

Safe to say, this wasn’t what we expected to find when the car first came in.

Our priority was to get this sorted before continuing with the rest of the inspection, and there are still a few more things to look at on this Hyundai.

Stay tuned for Part 3 as we continue working through the car and uncover the rest of the story 👀

What would your reaction be if you found this during an inspection? 👇

🤔 What do you think is causing the issue with this Hyundai?

Welcome to Part 1 of another little workshop series 👀

This Hyundai came to us with a customer complaint of a noise when changing into second gear, so Alex took it out for a test drive to gather some initial information.

During the drive, we noticed more than just the original concern. Alongside the gear-change noise, there was also a noticeable lack of performance and another sound that definitely caught our attention 🔍

At this stage, we’re still in the investigation phase, but what we found when we got the car back to the workshop wasn’t what we were expecting.

We’ll save that for Part 2… 👀

For now, drop your guesses in the comments below ⬇️
What do you think Alex is about to find?

🤔 Have you been following our Bentley series?

We’ve got a positive update for you 👀

I caught up with Alex as he was pulling the Bentley outside after carrying out a huge amount of work to get it running as it should again 🔧

There’s still a few jobs left to complete, including some work relating to the exhaust system, but the transformation so far has been incredible.

The turbos are now operating correctly, the misfires have been resolved, and the car is running exactly how you’d expect a Bentley to run 👍

Along the way, a whole range of components have been replaced, including spark plugs, coil packs, and several other items that needed attention.

It’s been a long journey with this one, but it’s great to see it finally heading in the right direction.

Stay tuned because we’re not quite finished with this Bentley yet 👀

🤔 Would you trust an independent specialist with your Lamborghini?

We’ve got some incredibly exciting news here at Alcomoto 👀

We have officially been approved and signed onto the Lamborghini dealer network tooling, giving us access to the same systems used for servicing, diagnostics, software procedures, and manufacturer-level support. 🔧🐂

This is a huge step for us and allows us to offer even more support for Lamborghini owners while maintaining the personal service that our customers know us for.

We’re always investing in the latest equipment, training, and manufacturer tooling to ensure we can look after vehicles to the highest possible standard.

So, if you own a Lamborghini and are looking for a specialist to maintain and care for your vehicle, get in touch and we’d be happy to help.

A massive milestone for the business and one we’re incredibly proud of 🙌

🤔 Do you enjoy these little workshop update videos?

A little walk-through of what’s been happening in the workshop this week 👀

Including an update on the Ford we recently posted about — after stripping the engine down, it did in fact turn out to be the head gasket causing the issue. The car is now in the reassembly stage and slowly coming back together 🔧

Of course, there’s loads that happens behind the scenes that never makes it onto camera, but we thought you guys would enjoy a little catch-up on what’s been going on around the workshop lately.

From a Q5 in the workshop to an RS6 having a new water pump fitted, it’s definitely been a busy week 👍

🤯 Just when we thought this Bentley couldn’t surprise us anymore…

So here’s Part 2.5 of the Bentley series 👀

The next morning we caught up with Alex again, and after digging even deeper into the car he started finding even more things that raised questions.

From the way certain wiring had been installed, to how parts of the exhaust control setup had been mounted, this one just kept getting more interesting the further we looked into it 🔍

There were even signs within the engine bay that suggested far more work had been carried out than originally expected.

Safe to say, this Bentley is keeping us busy… and we still don’t think we’ve reached the end of the story yet 👀

We’ll keep updating you as we continue going through the car, but for now we hope you’ve been enjoying this little Bentley series before we get back to the usual workshop content 👍

🤔 How does something like this even leave a workshop?

You’ve all been waiting for Part 2 of this Bentley series… and somehow it gets even more interesting once the car goes up in the air 👀

During the inspection, Alex found several areas that clearly needed further attention — from parts of the exhaust setup to components that hadn’t been secured correctly.

There were also a few surprises along the way that definitely caught us off guard during the inspection process 🔍

Safe to say, this Bentley still has quite a story to tell… and we’re nowhere near finished yet.

Stay tuned for Part 3 because there is still plenty more to uncover on this build 👀

14/05/2026

🤔 Would you be happy getting your car back like this?

This Bentley is one Alex actually repaired over a year ago and had running perfectly before it was sent away for a full body kit conversion 👀

Fast forward over a year later… and the car has arrived back with us for inspection.

We’re not going to say too much just yet, but some of the finishing details immediately stood out to us — from the arch work clearance to the overall condition the vehicle was returned in.

This one definitely raised a few questions during the initial walkaround 🔍

And if you think this is surprising… wait until Part 2 when the car goes up in the air 👀

This is turning into a full mini-series, so stay tuned and let us know your thoughts below 👇

🤔 Would a noise like this worry you… or would you know exactly what it is?

The owner of this BMW brought it in during a service after noticing a clicking / cricket-style noise coming from the brakes 👀

Alex instantly had a good idea what it was, but as always, carried out a full health check just to make sure nothing else was contributing to the sound 🔍

After checking everything over, it turned out to be exactly what we expected — this BMW is fitted with performance drilled and grooved brake discs, and the design of these can create this type of noise during use.

So in this case, nothing to worry about 👍
Just one of those characteristics that can come with this style of brake setup.

Have you ever heard this before on performance brakes? 👇
