Rapide, a four-door sports saloon grand tourer was Aston Martin's first series-produced four-door saloon since the Lagonda, It also serves as the basis for the Lagonda Taraf, a limited-production, bespoke model. First presented as a concept in 2006 and entering production in 2010. It is based on the Aston Martin DB9 and shares its VH platform with similar aesthetic which is often associated with the classic Aston Martin style.
