So the last couple of weeks have been pretty busy. It started with the Malcolm Wilson rally where we helped the SG Racing Team of Steve Green and Michael Gilmore to win the 1400 Class. The following days we were off to Denmark to support the MP Motorsport and Bisted Motorsport teams on their pre season test with their Fiesta R1 and S2000 respectively. We look forward to providing further support to both teams in their campaigns in the Danish Championship and selected events in Germany.

So the last month has been very R5 Fiesta centric having worked on 3 different cars. Next weekend will be a slight change as we will be reunited with the R1 Fiesta we built in conjunction with DM Prep and MP Motorsport out in Denmark when the team will be competing in their local rally. We will also be supporting MSL Motorsport who will be at the same event with 2 R5 Fiestas driven by their Norwegian drivers Pal Try and Svein Frustol. Having worked with these guys on Rally GB 2014 it will be great to catch up again.

Had a great time at the weekend helping MSL Motorsport run their Fiesta R5 on the Speyside Stages. John Maccrone and Rhianon Gelsomino finished 4th overall setting a number of fastest stage times on the way. Driveshaft failure on stage 5 cost any chance of pushing for victory. Better luck next time.

So a day of mixed fortunes on the Border Counties Rally today for ShawSpeed. The MSL Motorsport run R5 of John Maccrone was in 5th position 3rd in class despite a steady drive to learn the car when a turbo clamp failed resulting in a bitterly disappointing retirement for the team on the road section after Stage 4. In better news the Mk2 Es**rt of Steve Smith fitted with one of our 1600 Ford Sigma engine won it's class, and our friend from Denmark Jeannette Kvick also won her class despite doing the first half of the rally with no intercom. I believe after shouting all day she is now quieter than she has ever been

So the Puma hit the rollers yesterday and made 125bhp with a nice flat torque curve giving in excess of the stock 92lbft figures from 3400-7250rpm. The power increase of 38% over standard is non too shabby on stock internals.
