Is there a grace period for getting an MOT done? 🚗

No. There’s no grace period once your MOT expires.

You cannot drive or park your vehicle on the road without a valid MOT, unless an exemption applies.

You can drive without a current MOT if you're travelling to a pre-arranged MOT test, or in certain circumstances to or from somewhere to have repairs carried out. Your vehicle must still be roadworthy.
