Job Opportunity: HGV Trailer Technician / Fitter

​The Role
​You will be responsible for ensuring our fleet and client trailers are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards. Your core duties will include:
​Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out high-quality routine servicing and repairs.
​Inspections: Performing thorough pre-MOT inspections to ensure a first-time pass rate.
​System Diagnostics: Utilizing your expertise to troubleshoot and repair ABS and EBS systems.
​Electrical Work: Diagnosing and resolving faults within trailer electrical systems.
​General Repairs: Managing various trailer-related mechanical repairs as required.
​What We Are Looking For
​Reliability: We are a small team that relies on everyone pulling their weight; punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
​Technical Skill: Proven experience in trailer maintenance, specifically with braking (ABS/EBS) and electrical systems.
​Quality Focused: You must be able to perform inspections and repairs to a high standard, with a keen eye for detail.

​What We Offer
​Competitive Salary: Up to £37,000 per year (depending on experience).

What We Are Looking For:

​We need a technician who can hit the ground running. To be successful in this role, you must possess:

●​Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent (Time Served).
●​Experience: Proven experience working on HGV vehicles.
●​Mindset: A motivated self-starter who is equally comfortable working independently on complex diagnostics or collaborating with the wider team to get the job done.
●​Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
