Mk8 golf R on the rollers!

I actually quite like tuning these, the ecu layout isn’t that complex and they react well to changes!

I used the bflash built in dyno mode activation and flashed/logged with the bflash tool.

Simos19 ecu isn’t miles off the 18 but there are a fair few differences in the way the logic works.

Currently working on stage 3 setups on the simos19 and we have something released soon for base files on the portal.

This was just a stage one session, coming in just under 400 due to the heat.

Quick me7.5 ecu flash for a dealer, this one needed a base tune for the customer to be able to drive the car after some changes in the garage.

K300 turbo (duty capped)
550cc injectors
Cooler

Setup will be dialled in once all fitted via the dealer and the portal system.

Audi s5 in for a tune

Mg1 ecu with the al552 gear box so both was setup to go inline.

Engine - stg1+ tune with cylinder on demand removed, exhaust flaps open in sport and a raised burble in sport.

1.6 bar peak boost
12 deg timing at peak
52deg intake temp just clipping

Gearbox - shift points adjusted - shift speeds massively reduced - oil pressure calibration - torque limits adjusted to cope.

Logged with bflash
Edited with WinOLS

18deg cell temps

Stock measured - 372hp - 567nm
Final power - 428hp - 682nm

Sacrificed a little top end hp for a better midrange 👌

Ecu check on a transtron ecu for a trade customer..

Full check and passed with flying colours!

Don’t just buy a new one if you are having issues.. I can check and repair the majority of ecus.. which can save you a lot of money!

Big build 1.8t in for a refresh and power hunt on a bigger set of injectors!

Unfortunately.. the wrong injectors.. so this will be a tbc..
