Update; this weeks posted availability has been fully booked. Thank you all for your enquiries.

I am anticipating 2/3 more spaces across June and the same for July. Spaces will be posted here as soon as I’m sure of the slot time/day and start date.

I would like to gently remind anyone enquiring my working days/hours are Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 9.00am first lesson with my final slot of the day starting at 4.30pm.

I am unable to assist with evenings or weekends at this time.
Lesson durations are offered in 1h, 1.5h and 2h however I do not accept new starters with me booking more than one hour for their first lesson as we need to ensure we get along etc.

With a bit of hope and a lot of faith, I posted Chloe’s lesson slot as available while she was actually still out on her test…. Good job I did really because she’s just absolutely smashed it with two minors at Wakie test centre.
The day before her theory expires too so no pressure there!

Chloe has worked hard week in and week out to get here so I’m obviously proud as punch of her for pulling this off. Thank you kindly for my card and liquor, Chloe that’s the weekend sorted 😉

I’ll be responding to the messages regarding the slots I posted earlier once I finish for the day.

Congratulations again Chloe, it’s been a barrel of laughs 🥳🥳🥳

Ideally suited to Castleford/Pontefract/Knottingley/Ferrybridge etc due to the location of the customers who are scheduled either side.

From Wednesday 17th June:

Wednesdays 10.30-11.30 & 12-1
All WF areas considered.

Lessons are £40ph. These are fixed weekly slots on an ongoing basis so are only suitable for learners who can commit to the same slot every week.

Well well well… Would you believe the top pic is here in Yorkshire it’s 32 degrees and the lake is a balmy 19. Falling in feels necessary just to cool off. Whilst in comparison, my actual abroad holiday two weeks ago was the below picture, a lovely 3 degrees in Norway…. 😂😂

Thought I’d do a little about me again for those who haven’t met me yet.
I’m Chloe, I’m born and bred in good old Wakefield. I live in one of the villages between Wakie and Ponte and the majority of my customers come from the surrounding area of Ponte/5 towns/SESKU etc.

I’ve been a driving instructor for… TEN YEARS! 😱 started out teaching in 2016 with a fiat 500 😅

I teach everything from cars to ambulances to articulated lorrys.

I stopped teaching manual transmission however back in 2022 due to a high demand for automatic and i now teach in a Kia Niro.

I’m a, lets be kind and say low to mid 30s.. mum to one nearly teenage daughter.

My daughter is Deaf and Autistic. I’ve got 12 years experience living with my little ‘tism (said lovingly) and I home educate her since she left primary school too.

I’ve undergone various CPD in my time including a level 3 teaching and training qualification, anxiety workshops, autism and ADHD awareness training and mental health first aid and general first aid at work courses.
I also hold level one in BSL and can and do teach BSL users to drive.

Because of the above I’m very well versed in teaching the neurodivergent. I’m also one many come to when they’re suffering with Anxiety.

Thankfully for my business sake, I’m often very busy and getting booked in with me can take a few months on the waiting list.
I do post slots on here when they do come up so do drop a follow to ensure you see them if you’re interested.

I don’t currently have anything available but I have some tests coming up and all being well I will have room for a couple new people!
Please note I only currently work Wednesday/Thursday/Friday and my last slot starts at 4.30pm.

If I’m not working, you’ll find me educating my small person, spending time with my two cats and my golden retriever, flying my plane, doing a bit of cosy gaming or out with my daughter and my fella on our paddleboards!

Just a heads up, I am currently enjoying some well earnt adventures cruising towards Norway.

I will be returning to work Weds 20th and until I get home I ask with respect for your patience and understanding that I won’t be responding to work enquiries on my trip.

I’ve been sworn to secrecy all day until she could tell the family but…

Imagine this. Two weeks before your driving test you end up in hospital. You escape with a week to spare only for your bloody instructor to then spend the best part of the following week in hospital too!
I made it home at the weekend and dragged myself back to work today but my gosh she’s gone and made it worth the stress.

Ellie has worked her socks off to get here, she’s got off 12 hour shifts as a nurse and still smashed out a 2 hour lesson to ensure she’s ready without complaint. She’s had ups and downs but her dedication and determination were unmatched.

I can’t wait to see her buzzing about in her new car, it’s been such a journey and I’m so glad she came to me for her lessons.
It’s been a blast Ellie, congratulations again 🩷🩷🩷

To all my lovely students… if you have recieved a text message today inviting you to join ‘learn to drive pro’ this is not a scam! It’s from me!
This website/app is completely free of charge to you guys, it enables you to view all your scheduled lessons, your up to date progress on your lessons AND best of all, it comes with the option for me to send you detailed 3D instructional videos of what we will be learning on your next lesson.
So go ahead and hit that link in you text (be sure it’s only from learntodrivepro!) and see what I’ve sent you.

To people considering me for your future driving lessons: this is a system I pay to use to ensure my students have the opportunity to monitor their ongoing progress and enable them to access expert high quality content to help them on their driving journey.

Did you know it’s included in the ADI code of conduct that instructors should be recording student progress? Think about it, schools send home report cards, why wouldn’t you want transparency about where you are up to in your learning journey!?

I’m super excited about how smooth this system is and how it seemlessly intregrates the fantastic ‘Learn to Drive App’ - a tool I’ve been using for a long time now for my visual learners!

New drivers be aware of the rules.

Furthermore IF you manage to get yourself a policy canceled you are LEGALLY OBLIGATED to declare you’ve had a policy cancelled on ALL future policies. Forever.

This IS absolutely a reason they will increase your premiums. Dont get caught out. It’s not worth taking chances, know the rules and stick to them.

This is a really important one. It is happening more and more with black box policies and telematics.

“I Have Just Passed And My Insurance Has Been Cancelled For Phone Use.”

This message was sent to me recently.

A newly qualified driver.
Black box policy.
Phone in the car.

Passengers using with the phone that was connected to the telematics.

Driver not physically touching it.

Insurance cancelled.

Here is the uncomfortable truth.

It does not matter who is holding the phone.

If the policy states the phone linked to the telematics app must remain secure and stationary during journeys, that is a condition of the contract.

Most black box insurers monitor:

• Phone movement
• Screen interaction
• Acceleration patterns
• Braking
• Time of day
• Speed

If the phone moves while the vehicle is moving, it can register as use.

The insurer does not see context.
It sees data.

New drivers often do not realise this:

Your phone must be secured properly in a holder.
Not loose on the seat.
Not passed between passengers.
Not handled at traffic lights.
Not interacted with while moving.

Even if someone else is touching it.

Telematics policies are strict.
A cancellation is serious.

It can:

• Increase future premiums significantly
• Make insurance harder to obtain
• Require declaration for years

This is not about punishment.
It is about contractual conditions.

Before you drive with a black box policy:

Read every clause.
Understand the app.
Secure the device.
Explain the rules to passengers.

Passing your test is freedom.
Insurance is a legal contract.

Both require responsibility.

Let me introduce myself👇🏽

My name is Jake and I am a mobile DJ local to the Wakefield area West Yorkshire! I first got introduced to DJing around 10 years ago when my Dad would take me all around the county helping him from setting up the gear, everything in between and dismantling again.

This is where the love for music began. The earliest memory I have is seeing people stood on bars, tables and chairs dancing away to proud Mary!! From that time on every Friday and Saturday was dedicated to lumbering speakers, lighting and other equipment in and out of pubs.

Unfortunately in 2022 my dad passed away. It was by far the most difficult time of my life to date and I had to think of a way to keep myself going and keep his memory alive. This is why I decided to take on the DJing. At the start I was overwhelmed by all the bookings I had week in week out I was here there and everywhere but due to other working commitments I found myself running out of days in the week and realised I needed some time to rest. May 2023 was my last time out on the decks and since then weekend after weekend I realised that I missed DJing so this leads me to where I am today.

I’m buzzing to say I am back better than before and cannot wait to get back out there👑 new speakers, more lighting, better sound!! Please keep me in mind for any future events that you may have from birthdays, christenings, charity events, weddings, engagement parties you name it I’ll be there❤️‍🔥
