J Wright and Sons Ltd will be closing early at 12:30 PM on Friday 1st May for the bank holiday weekend.

We will reopen on Tuesday 5th May at 8:00 AM.

A reminder of the Funeral Details

The funeral of James (Jim) Wright will be held on Tuesday 3rd February at 2:45pm at Huddersfield Crematorium.
For anyone who would like to follow the funeral procession, we will be setting off from J Wright and Sons Ltd at 2:15pm.
Following the service, the wake will take place at Lepton Highlanders Sports and Social Club, straight after the funeral. Everyone is welcome to attend — whether you join us for both the funeral and the wake, or for either one. It would be lovely to see everyone who knew Jim as we come together to celebrate his life.
There will be food available, along with tea and coffee, and the bar will be open.

Funeral Announcement for James (Jim) Wright

We would also like to take a moment to thank everyone for the many kind messages left on the garage page and our personal accounts. We’re sorry we haven’t been able to respond to everyone individually, but please know that your kindness has not gone unnoticed and is truly appreciated.

The garage will, of course, be closed for the day so that we can all be there to celebrate the life of Jim.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Wright Senior (Jim) on the morning of 13th January.

Jim was one of the four original founders of J Wright & Sons and a much-loved part of our company’s history. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

We will share funeral details in the coming days so that anyone who knew Jim and wishes to pay their respects will be able to do so.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and support during this difficult time.

A polite notice to our customers that we close to the public on Tuesday 16th December AT 5PM.

We will spend Wednesday, Thursday and Friday cleaning down and re painting the garage, so we have a fresh start to the New Year when we return to work.

We will re-open Monday the 5th January at 8am.
