I'm pleased to announce after 6 long months recovering from injuries received from a 'hit & run' RTC in London that Wadhurst Wheels Driving School has reopened for business from 1st September 2025.

Interesting / challenging Armco barriers have been erected at the entrance of Wadhurst Station Car Park.

The silver of the metal blends nicely into the tarmac; if hi-viz / chevron signs aren’t added it looks like an accident waiting to happen.

They also look like they’ll be difficult for full sized buses to negotiate.

The rules on changing or cancellation of Driving Tests is about to change increasing to 10 clear working days from 3 clear working days.

This is part of DVSA’s attempt to reduce the wait for Driving Tests, by making it more difficult to change the intention is encourage only candidates who are going to be ‘test ready’ to apply.

Learner drivers will need to give more notice when changing or cancelling their car driving test to avoid losing the test fee from 8 April 2025.
