"Used motorcycles come with confidence, not certainty."

People often ask why we don't offer everything under the sun anymore.

Why don't we have 30 bikes in stock?

Why don't we deliver all over the country ourselves?

Why is everything by appointment?

Why don't we answer 47 questions about whether a side-mounted number plate is supposed to be at an angle?

The honest answer?

Because after 35 years in the motorcycle trade, I've learnt that doing more doesn't always mean doing better.

These days I'd rather have fewer bikes, know them properly, describe them honestly, photograph them thoroughly, and spend my time with customers who are genuinely excited about buying and riding them.

Used motorcycles come with confidence, not certainty. We can reduce risk with experience, preparation and honesty, but we can't eliminate it completely.

So if you've looked through the advert, watched the video, done your homework and think one of our bikes might be the right fit, I'll happily make time for you.

If you're searching for absolute certainty from a used motorcycle... you might be searching for something that doesn't exist.

I appreciate that's not the modern way of doing business.

But it is ours.

And, thankfully, it seems to suit the people who keep coming back.

CASUAL BIKE CLEANING HELP — RINGWOOD AREA

Unique Wheels is looking for somebody local to help with motorcycle cleaning and presentation prep.

Flexible, casual work as and when required.

Mainly washing, cleaning, degreasing, polishing and getting used bikes looking tidy and retail-ready.

You'll need to be practical, reasonably fit and comfortable moving motorcycles around.

Could suit a biker, enthusiast, semi-retired person or simply somebody who takes pride in doing a good job.

Nothing formal. No guaranteed hours.

A week ago local lads were over heard talking about my sons bikes. So my sons been vigilant ever since.

Targeted theft and by locals who knew as nothing else was touched and 2 bikes left 1 dumped in the garden.

They entered through a neighbours property by stealing the garage remote . They then entered via the back garden.

Furious is an understatement.
