Mazda MX5 - Mk1 Mk2 (NA NB) 89-05 - HARD TOP - CLASSIC RED w/ HEATED REAR SCREEN

Used, but in great condition, is this hard top for your Mazda MX5 in Classic Red (SU). This hard top features the sought after heated rear screen and includes both the hard top side and the car side of the heated rear screen harness so that you can wire the heated screen into your Mk1 (NA - 1989-1998) if required.

This hard top will fit any Mazda MX5 Mk1 (NA - 1989-1998), Mk2 (NB - 1998-2000) and Mk2.5 (NBFL - 2001-2005).

This hard top is in fantastic condition for its age but it does have a couple of marks (shown in the final photos).

If required we also have hard top fixing kits on the shelf which we can supply separately .

We currently have far too many Mazda's here at PM Sports Cars so it is time to free up some space and let some of our cars go as projects at a bargain price!

Next up we have this Racing Green Mazda Roadster (NB) rolling shell (import).

We received this as a salvage car many years ago and due to the condition of the shell we planned to keep it for future use but lack of space means that it has to go.

This shell is very solid and perfect to build up your damaged or rotten Mazda into a replacement shell.

The car is damaged (offside front corner) but we have included replacement panels (bonnet, wing, bumper). As this car is salvage (from memory it is a category C car) it does not have a V5 but a new log book is simple to obtain with a V62.

For this shell we're asking just £500.00 cash on collection/delivery.

Used, but in good condition, is this front fog light upgrade kit for an early Mk3 (NC - 2005-2008) Mazda MX5.

Simple to install, the front fog lights replace the blanks in the bumper and the stalk is swapped out with your current right stalk. Everything is plug and play; no coding is required!

Although we are fairly certain that all Mazda MX5's came with the wiring harness for fogs front the factory please confirm that your Mazda has the correct plugs behind the fog blanks (the plugs are obvious and usually tapped neatly just above the fog blanks) before purchase.

For this upgrade kit we're asking just £119.95 including VAT plus £3.95 (2-3 day) or £6.95 (next day) shipping if required.

We have a Mazda MX5 hard top with heated glass screen up for grabs finished in Brilliant Black (A3F) which will suit any colour and fits both Mk1 or Mk2 (NA/NB - 1989-2005).

The top is in very good condition for its age and has been removed from a one owner NB facelift Sport that has covered just 71k miles. There are a few marks and scratches, presumably from storage, which we have included in the photos.

The heated harness has been repaired in the past with spade connectors to the glass but it is a tidy repair and does not look out of place. We have also included an NB car side harness ready to solder into a Mk1 (NA) if required.

This hard top is cash on collection only and we're looking for £450.00. Unfortunately due to the size and glass we cannot ship this hard top. We also have hard top fixing kits on the shelf that we can include for a discounted price if purchased with the top if required.

Wanted - full time member of staff to join us at PM Sports Cars LTD, Derby, DE72 2HL.

We have a full time position available (8:30-17:30 Monday to Friday, Saturday morning optional) here at PM Sports Cars starting immediately.

Job tasks will include:

- Part picking, packaging and drop off at local Post Office.

- Vehicle delivery and collection.

- Assisting part fitting, servicing and repair of Mazda MX5 and Porsche's.

- Usual warehouse jobs: tidy away car parts, sweep up and make tea (essential).

Applicants must have a full UK drivers license and a basic tool set but other than that all we're asking for is enthusiasm and passion for these cars as you will learn as you go.

Pay will begin at £382.50 per week (£330.53 after tax/NI).

We currently have far too many Mazda's here at PM Sports Cars so it is time to free up some space and let some of our cars go as projects at a bargain price!

Next up we have this Mariner Blue (best colour) Mazda MX5 Mk1 1.6 project.

This car was purchased a salvage vehicle from auction and once it arrived it was too good to use for parts. The idea was to retail this car in the end but unfortunately we do not have the storage space so we have given it a good clean and it is now available to you for a bargain price!

The car is a 1992 UK model (MX5 rather than Eunos Roadster) in Mariner Blue. It has the 1.6 long nose engine and five speed manual box. The diff is a small case open diff in the shorter 4.300:1 ratio.

The MOT expired on 11th February 2021 and it was purchased as a category S (structural) insurance write off (salvage).

Overall the car is in decent shape for a Mk1. The offside front wing has been damaged in the accident along with a knock to the nearside sill and a large dent to the nearside rear quarter. We have swap the door for one of the shelf on colour which will need a small amount of adjustment to fit the hole nicely. All electronics are there and everything works as it should of thereabouts.

Hood in poor condition but it does keep out water for now

There are a lot of cosmetic fault but as a fairly solid shell that runs and drives it would be ideal to trailer to the track or weld up the diff for a drift car. Alternatively it could be rescued with a lot of love and labour but at the end you would end up with a relatively low mileage nice early example of an MX5.

We currently have far too many Mazda's here at PM Sports Cars so it is time to free up some space and let some of our cars go as projects at a bargain price!

Next up we have this black Mazda MX5 / Eunos Roadster Mk1 1.6 Auto rebuild project.

This car was purchased from a customer of ours a few years ago with the intention of selling it as a clean sale car. The car had two replacement rear quarters and a full respray before it was put on the back burner for a while and during that time it was damaged (scratched rear bumper, dent to the wing). A while later the car it was unfortunately scratched again across the bonnet and front bumper by a dog that somehow ended up trapped in our yard over night (this kind of thing happens to other people too, right?) and ultimately the idea of finished the car was abandoned.

This brings us to today and as we have lost a lot of our storage space some of our cars have to go and although this car has potential we do not have the time to finish it at the moment so our loss, your gain!

The car is a 1993 auto in black with tan interior. The car runs and drive off the key (battery flat) but it does not like to idle until warm which we assume needs setting up. We have replaced the fuel, fuel filter, coolant and the oil and oil filter to get the car funning again. The timing has been checked and it is spot on and the belt looks new but we cannot remember if we replaced the belt in the past.

The MOT expired on 30th August 2015 and the car has been with us since. The car is unrecorded (HPI clear) but it does have a few dings and marks from storage.

Overall the car is in good shape and the rear quarter repairs have held up but there is a small patch of bubbling on the offside rear quarter (see photos). There are two patches underneath on the chassis rails that have been repaired it the past and have failed again so the car will require some welding before MOT.

Next up we have this silver Mazda MX5 Mk3.5 2.0 donor shell / rebuild project.

This car was purchased as a front end donor for another of our sales vehicles and when the car arrived we were surprised at how clean it was. The running gear has been used in another of our customers vehicles but at this stage it would be a shame to waste the rest of it.

Currently the car is missing 2.0 engine, 5 speed gearbox and 4.1 diff. Front and rear bumpers, lights and wing mirrors. The bonnet and wings are items we had lying around and will require repair/paint but ideally would require replacement.

The MOT expired on 6th December 2020. The car is category S salvage listed and the accident damage was rear end (rear bumper damage, split in bodywork photo #11)

Overall the car is in good shape and a perfect donor for a crash damaged vehicle or to build up to see the road again.
