The Angry Spider Racing Team started in 2011, racing a Toyota Paseo Supermodified Rallycross Car in the BTRDA Rallycross Championship, and entering the odd hillclimb. We now race a Super Modified Porsche Boxster in the BTRDA Rallycross Championship, with Michelle Swallow behind the wheel. Rob Scott, Hannah Bickerstaff and Michelle Swallow build and race the cars. Mx5 update.
We have done some more panel work getting the body kit to fit right.
We also decide to try the new wheels on to see if we need to do anything to the arches.... We did lol
The new wheels stick out a fair bit.
We've had to roll the arches a lot and will still have to stretch the tyres too.
There will be primer soon

Finally got round to a bit more work on the projects lol
The Mk1 MX5 has progressed.
We are on with prepping the panels ready for painting.
We've used rust converter anywhere we see the smallest bit of rust.
We all know how the mx5's likes to rust 🤣

Don't worry guys, Rachey is still with us and will be getting the attention she needs soon.

Our old Toyota Paseo that we used to rallycross in 2011 is still going strong.
It has had a full rebuild and is now being used in rallies by Ryan Hay

Little update for you guys
We've been doing more painting.
Starting to paint up and rust treat anything and everything we can so this car will last forever.
Headlights are back in and underside of the car is painted

The new MX5 build is coming on nicely.
We decided she'd look good with a painted engine bay so that's what we have done.
Showing off her lovely teal colour.

She's had some new feet bought too which are in keeping with true Angry Spider colour... Bright spanking pink 😍

On a secondary note we would like to welcome new Angry Spider doggo Jesse to the family and I'm sure you'll be seeing plenty of photos of him as he doesn't know how to stop photo bombing pictures lol

Well.... it's been a long time since an update, lol.
We've got so much going on, it's hard to keep up on updates.

So..... our friends in the neighbouring units, all have drift cars, and since Rob crashed the pink Mk2 MX5, we've needed to fix it up but not had the motivation/time.

But this came along for £200 our new MX5 drift car, it's a green Mk1 that we found in a garage, it had been stored for 10 years.
It has minimal rust, just a little on the rear quarters, so it's an ideal base to build a new car.
Our old pink mk2 has now been stripped so it can donate all its running gear to the mk1.

It's not for competitions, just practice..... and to look sick yo!
