So last Wednesday we shared an April fools joke saying we were gonna sell 69130 just to join in the banter. While most people fell for it, there is some people that do think that we are actually selling it

Just to clarify again, it was only a joke for April fools and we will not be selling it at all. We will be back with updates for it very soon

After much debate & consideration, we regret to inform you all that we no longer have the time & funds to continue with the work for 69130 so we will be very sadly be looking at selling it soon 😢 this is due to lack of time, money, rising fuel costs and difficulty of findingparts. Thank you for all your support over the last few years, we will be advertising it for sale and posting further details soon 😭

Bit late posting this. We decided to start up our other bus Volvo B10BLE Wright Renown V258DPS in preparation to get it ready for moving it to its new home where it will be stored alongside 69130. We used 69130s batteries to start it up and she started up on the 3rd attempt! While she still sounds rough but not as bad and less smokey as the last time we started it in June last year, she is still not currently moving and not going into gear despite what we initially thought was due to the half shaft being out, despite putting the shaft back in still no luck. We reckon this is due to a wiring error in the system of the gearbox ECU but with various other issues with the bus, the time came to switch it off and we unfortunately ran out of time to do more stuff on the day.

Once 69130 is nearly finished, we will be back to it soon to investigate it further then when it finally moves to the new storage facility, we will get it properly looked at to find out what needs doing to it, as we will be starting with it as the 2026 project, which we are very excited to do! We do have a rough idea what needs done to it but there will undoubtedly be way more once it gets seen to properly, once it is in its new home and when 69130 is back on the road

In the meantime we will be resuming work with 69130 soon where we will be back with updates with it hopefully in the next few weeks

Today we moved 69130 from its current storage location to its new indoor storage unit which we have managed to secure with our friends at ScotBus Preservation Group. And no, there nothing wrong with it, it just only required towing as it not currently road legal right now

Finally managed to get round a good pressure wash!

Replaced mirror arms and got on new mirrors as well and also tightened up the NS front wheel arch wiring clip cable which was loose.

Minor stuff is nearly out the way but now got to start the big mechanical jobs that needed for MOT
