Swedefest 2025 — what a weekend.
Stonham Barns played host to a line-up that had everything from the latest heavy hitters to the retro and vintage gems that always catch my eye. Among the standouts was a beautifully turned-out 92M that had travelled all the way from Holland — a reminder of just how much passion and dedication goes into keeping these lorries alive and running.
What really made it special, though, was the people. From the early morning engine rumbles to the late-day polish and stories, the sense of community was everywhere. The Dutch contingent, in particular, brought a real buzz to the showground, and it was a privilege to chat with them about their journeys, their Scanias, and the shared love of transport history that connects us all.
Swedefest isn’t just about lorries — it’s about friendships, stories, and the miles travelled to be part of something bigger. And this year, it delivered on all fronts.
