Our customers vehicle we attend earlier this weekend!

We received an urgent call from a customer reporting:

A smoke-like smell inside the cabin

An unusual noise coming from the bonnet

Visible smoke

We attended her home address and carried out a visual diagnosis into the fault

What we found:

The No. 3 cylinder injector had come loose

The injector seal needed replacing

What we did:

Removed the injector

Thoroughly cleaned it

Fitted a new injector seal

Refitted the injector

Torqued all injectors down to the correct specification

The result:

After a road test with the customer, the engine was running perfectly again — no more chuffing noise and everything back to normal.

We know how important your vehicle is. Everyone’s life is different, and for this particular customer (who works for the National Fire Service) so we understand the importance of the vehicle

SAF Axle NSF Hub Wheel Bearing Failure
Attended earlier this morning (urgent call-out)

The NSF hub wheel bearing on the SAF axle had collapsed, locking the wheel and causing the tyre to blow out.

Visual inspection confirmed no further damage to the mudguards, airbags, air pipes, or surrounding components.

- A tyre fitting company attended and replaced the blown-out tyre.

- Due to parts availability, recovery was arranged with the customer.

- The axle was securely strapped for transport.

- The trailer was escorted back to the customer’s workshop at a steady pace for further investigation and repair prior to returning to service.

Our service van out early this morning helping a customer roadside with an unusual noise from under the engine 🛠️

✅ Visual checks completed
✅ Alternator failed (internal bearings)
✅ New alternator, auxiliary belt & tensioner fitted

Quick diagnosis and repair meant the customer had very minimal downtime — from start to finish, just over a couple of hours. Back on the road and running smoothly again! 🚗💨

We received a call from a customer on a busy distribution site:

• Their trailer shunting vehicle had stopped and wouldn’t restart
• It was blocking three trailers that urgently needed to leave

✅ We arrived within our 60-minute ETA
✅ Carried out a visual inspection and quick diagnosis
✅ Found the issue: the exciter wire had come off the starter motor solenoid (recently replaced by another company)

🛠️ What we did:
• Removed the broken terminal
• Fitted the correct terminal
• Crimpled it securely and reconnected

⚡ The shunting vehicle started first time.
⏱ From diagnosis to repair took just 30 minutes.

The vehicle was back in service, the trailers were clear, and the drivers were able to get on their way.

✨ Good Deed On The Dual Carriageway ✨

We Came Across This Lovely Old Gentleman Broken Down On A Busy Dual Carriageway With Nowhere Safe To Pull In — Just The Grass Verge At The Side Of The Road 🌿

We Pulled Over Straight Away 🛑 Laid Out Traffic Cones To Warn Approaching Drivers Of The Hazard Ahead And Guided Traffic Safely Past ✅

He Was All Alone, Stressed And Worried 😟 — So We Stopped To Speak With Him, Calmed Him Down 🫂, Then Pulled Him To Safety About 2 Miles Further On, Completely Off The Dual Carriageway 🛣️➡️✅

He Told Us There Was A Strong Smell Of Diesel And Engine Oil ⛽, And The Engine Had Cut Out And Wouldn't Start Again 🔧

We Opened The Bonnet And Did Some Quick Checks — Found That An Injector Bolt Had Snapped, Which Was Exactly What Was Causing All The Problems ⚙️

We Gave Him Clear Advice On What Was Wrong 📝, Left Him With A Cold Bottle Of Water 💧, And Made Sure He Was In A Safe Place Waiting For Recovery ✅

All Done Completely Free Of Charge 🤍

🚛 URGENT ON-SITE CALLOUT — JOB COMPLETED ✅

Earlier this morning we received an urgent call to a customer’s site. A tractor unit driver had accidentally forgotten to disconnect the Suzie cables and air lines before uncoupling from the trailer — causing the air pipes to snap, all air pressure to be lost, the vehicle to become stuck in gear, and the Suzie cables to be damaged.

To make matters more challenging, the truck was positioned under a fully loaded double-deck food trailer waiting for dispatch, and was completely blocking the yard 🚛⏳

We attended on-site with an urgent 60–90 minute ETA ⏱️

What we did:
✅ Assessed all damage to both the tractor unit and trailer
✅ Removed all damaged air lines and Suzie cables
✅ Fitted brand-new replacement air lines and Suzie cables
✅ Recoupled the tractor to the trailer
✅ Fully tested all lighting functions
✅ Checked thoroughly for air leaks — all working perfectly ✅

The result:
The tractor unit is now fully operational, back in service, and clear of the yard — ready to get those food deliveries on the road.
