Ben is back in the office tomorrow after two weeks honeymooning - covering hundreds of miles around Wales in the mega 618bhp HE140i.
When he can be prized away from his email inbox, who'd like to know more about how this machine delivered on the road; and more importantly the winter makeover we have planned for it? Not only is it getting returned to its usual track/clubsport spec, but we have a few extra goodies in the wings too...

Snowdonia in the HE140i was sensational. Full of luggage, two of us plus dog, in full comfort just like a normal 140. But then when the road calls for it, the car goes straight into lunatic mode.

x x for the good noises and ridiculous power

for the powerful but silent brakes

The list goes on. WHAT A CAR!

Mick's F33 440i in with us this morning for what's becoming an ever more popular repair; fitment of one of our handbrake cable repair bracket.
The original BMW part is plastic, with flimsy plastic clips for holding the handbrake cables secure and away from the propshaft. The clips break and then horrible grinding noises occur under acceleration as the cables make contact with the prop.
Our billet repair piece is made right here in Sussex and cures the problem - for good! It also doesn't require the fuel tank to be dropped unlike the original part. Easy to fit, problem solved 🔥

Another visitor to Hack HQ today was Sussex Bespoke Motorworks GB in this glorious S54 Z3 M Coupe. We supplied a huge number of components for this recommission/mini-restoration from AST x MOTON Suspension lowering springs to ACL Race Series bearings and ARP hardware, a load of Genuine BMW parts and MEYLE goodies too.
