What a weekend .
After a slightly unusual starting manoeuvre ,which involved our scooter ejecting the rider about twenty yards from the start line , we managed to claw our way back from last place on track , to a win after eight hours .
The final half hour was rather nail biting , and very very close , with the final overtake which put us in first place , happening only a few laps from the end .
As with the last few events , the competition in our class was very close which makes for some great racing adding even more energy to an already exciting event .
Many thanks to all that make this such a great event , the organisers , sponsors , marshals, photographers , commentators on the live stream and all the teams that compete , especially the IDK team . Love you all .

It’s race day people .
Sorted a small carb issue we had and now we are all good to go .
After a breakfast of champions of course

We are off endurance racing at Teesside .

IDK is growing , this is good news .
However , this is by no means perfect.
IDK has hit the point at which we have had no choice but to register for VAT, government rules , not mine.
As such , from the first of august , VAT will be added to our invoices.
We understand that this may upset a lot of you , but nothing can be done to change it , so please be kind to us , and support us as you always have.

What a great weekend

A great big thank you to the Dirty Devils SC and the Vulcan SC for putting on such a great rally .
Thank you for allowing IDK to be a part of it , offering on site support for those in need . Fortunately , only a few issues to deal with .
A Lambretta chopper with a rather worn tyre , a Rally 200 with a leaky fuel tap , a spark plug in a Vespa P200 and a little wiring repair on a small frame over from Germany with no headlight .
Many thanks to Dave and Diane of Scooter Trumps for supplying any parts I required ,
And a big shout out to all the organisers and venue staff that made for a great weekend
Roll on next year .
