8 years ago today I walked into my very first day as a driving instructor.
I'd done all the training, passed all the tests... but I was still so nervous I could hardly string a sentence together! 🤣
By the end of that first day, I knew I'd made the right decision. Taking that leap of faith, leaving my old career behind and betting on myself was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Fast forward 8 years... 🚗 Fastly approaching 400 passes 🚗 We've grown from one instructor to offering both manual and automatic tuition. 🚗 I now run the business alongside my husband, Chris.
Last year I took another leap and started building my travel business alongside the driving school. Once again, it reminded me that growth comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.
The biggest lesson these last 8 years have taught me? Success isn't luck. It's showing up consistently, especially on the days you don't feel like it. It's hard work, determination, resilience, and believing in yourself before anyone else does.
Here's to the next chapter, helping people gain their driving licence, book incredible holidays, and showing others that it's never too late to back yourself!!
