The Jaguar E Type is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and iconic sports cars ever produced, famously described by Enzo Ferrari as “the most beautiful car ever made.”

We are delighted to offer this exceptional 1965 Series 1 4.2 Roadster, originally delivered on 1st August 1965.

A fully matching-numbers example, the car has been subject to a comprehensive, no-expense-spared restoration completed between 2022 and 2024 by renowned marque specialists. The restoration included a full bare-metal repaint in Opalescent Dark Green, paired with a complete retrim in tan Connolly leather, presenting today in superb condition throughout.

Mechanically, the engine, gearbox and differential have all been rebuilt, and the car has covered just 600 miles since completion. A new black canvas hood and matching tonneau cover were also fitted as part of the restoration.

Discreet modern upgrades include Dynamat sound insulation and a hidden Bluetooth audio system, enhancing usability without compromising the car’s original character. An aluminium radiator and Kenlowe fan has also been added to aid cooling.

An outstanding, correctly specified Series 1 Roadster combining matching numbers, exceptional restoration quality and timeless colour combination. A superb example suitable for both collectors and enthusiasts alike.

What an extreamly rare opportunity this is, believed to be the lowest mileage 246 Dinos in existence, and one of only 13 Chairs & Flares examples to be delivered in the United Kingdom, this stunning Dino is available to market for the first time in over 20 years.

Produced from 1967 to 1974, the Ferrari Dino has come to be recognized as one of the most desirable sports cars of its era – a Pininfarina-styled masterpiece powered by a mid-mounted, four-cam V6 whose lineage traces directly to Ferrari’s Formula 1 and sports prototype racing programs. As with most great collectibles, the earliest and latest examples are the most coveted. While the alloy-bodied 206 GT and early L-Series 246 GTs represent the purest expression of the design, the late-production E-Series cars mark the Dino’s ultimate evolution. Among them, the so-called “Chairs and Flares” examples are the most prized, of which only around 300 are believed to have been produced and only 13 exist in right hand drive.
