Since our very first show people have been asking about the awards, so we would like to share with you the winners story. This post is all about the Peoples Choice Award from the words of winner Liam Bishop;

"This car belonged to our father, who unfortunately lost a battle with cancer last year. He bought the car around 2 years ago, and had always been buying new cars and toys to tinker with. This was his prized possession, and had managed to do some work to it himself before passing away. I know that the bonnet has been resprayed, and my dad, whilst ill, had carried out a weber carburettor conversion as this still has the original engine and this was done to improve reliability.

My dad unfortunately passed away too soon to be able to enjoy the car, and even take it to any shows. Myself and my brother have taken this on to carry on the tradition hoping that he is watching over us with enjoyment, especially as we know nothing about cars and are learning as we go! We carried out a full clean and detail of it ourselves and this has been the first show we have taken it to, so was very fitting to win the people's choice award, especially on fathers day".

We are delighted you won our first ever People's Choice Award Liam. 🙌👏

The Steeple Ashton Classic.
ANNOUNCEMENT.
It is our pleasure to announce that our inaugural classic vehicle show has raised an astounding £7,099.00 🍾🥳🎉
All of these proceeds will be distributed amongst the village charities and amenities, and these will be notified individually over the next week or so.
The success of this show didn’t happen overnight. There were countless meetings and discussions spread over many months between Steve, Bel, Sandie, Jason and I.
So many people also helped us during the day and we are eternally grateful to those people who have given up their time for us. We will be having a gathering with all of the above to thank them personally! 🍾🥂🍻

THE STEEPLE ASHTON CLASSIC
We are getting very excited ahead of our inaugural Steeple Ashton Classic on St Marys Recreation Field in Steeple Ashton. The show starts at 11am on Sunday 15th June, Father’s Day and will feature over 150 vehicles now including the world’s oldest and rarest Fiat 500 courtesy of
Our special guest is former Formula One racing driver who will be presenting best in show. We also have motoring journalist and former Top Gear presenter Jason Dawe who will be doing a walkabout talking to owners about their own classic vehicles.
We have an incredible raffle, a fun quiz and lots of food and drink on offer throughout the day.
The sun ☀️ will also be shining so why not come along and join us!
11 – 4pm
General admission £5 with Under 16’s free.
All proceeds will be donated to local village charities.

Father’s Day + Classic Vehicles = Perfect Day! 🚘🏍️👴💯
Sunday 15th June is our very first Classic vehicle show on St Mary’s Recreation
Field, Steeple Ashton.
Our vehicle display spaces are now full, with an incredible 130 vehicles coming to the show! 🚘🏍️. On display will be the oldest and rarest Fiat 500 in the world!
Here is the itinerary for the day!
11AM SHOW STARTS.
12PM WALKABOUT.
Motoring journalist and former Top Gear presenter Jason Dawe will be doing a walkabout and talking to owners about their own Classic Vehicles!
1.30PM PRESENTATION OF AWARDS.
These will be presented as follows:
PEOPLES CHOICE Presented by Michael Moore, Owner of the famous Steeple Ashton Petrol Pumps.
FUTURE CLASSIC Presented by local farmer Mr Jeremy Cottle and Car Enthusiast Mr Rob Anstey.
BEST IN SHOW
Presented by former Formula One Racing Driver Mike Wilds.
2.30PM RAFFLE DRAW. Prizes include;
10 laps for 2 people around Castle Combe Race Circuit, with local racing driver Tom Oatley.

The world’s oldest and rarest Fiat 500 will be on display at the Steeple Ashton Classic courtesy of owner .
This very special car led the pack at the Goodwood Revival in 2017.
Kevin McCloud also presented Rob with an Mt 500 plaque when he won best in show at the Italian Car Day in Bristol. The award was for being 100% correct by Auto Storico Italiano. This is on display on the cars boot lid!
