Summer isn't over just because the school holidays are 🍃

Along the Grand Union Canal, September brings some of the loveliest days of the year: warm afternoons, softer light, quieter towpaths and the first golden touches on the trees.

It's also one of the easiest escapes from London. Just 35–40 minutes from Euston to Tring, then a short hop to Cow Roast Marina, and the city feels a very long way away.

Our self-drive narrowboats fit up to 10 people, need no licence or experience, and come with everything you need for a proper day on the water - including a kettle, a fridge and somewhere warm to hide if the British weather has other ideas.
