It’s turbo Tuesday
Here’s a Volvo xc60 we have done recently pretty straight forward just labour intensive due to having to remove the subframe

I will also be closed next week for the last half term with my boy and Mrs p before Christmas is here

Changing out a common failure component on this Volvo xc90 today this silicone turbo hose replacing the entire resonator that is usually fitted with a rubber seal either end which as you can see one has failed leading to low boost pressure

All sorted and back to full power

Quick clutch change this afternoon finishing of a Friday nicely ready for a break at the weekend

Leaky radiator
Rear brakes
And a cooling fan replacement

3 different jobs in this post

Radiator on a corsa that was no longer holding coolant

Rear brakes on a golf that had a failed Caliper unfortunately and had eaten right through the pads to the metal

Then a cooling fan on an x trail, this had failed bearings causing unbalanced rotation and excessive noise

All 3 sorted and back to tip top condition

Sill replacement on this vw golf, safe to say this was bad!
This one too the customer requested that the sill be back to original colour not the usual black Shultz we use

So we had a good go at making it as close to factory as possible, I’m no painter or body work man but I will always do my best to accommodate everything

I don’t usually do weekends anymore, but this weekend just gone we put in a big shift repairing my dads s type jaguar which unfortunately failed its mot on a spot of welding
Unfortunately where the corrosion was meant dropping out the fuel tank, so no small job at all

But we got it sorted and back roadworthy

Becoming a regular thing this on a Friday, here we are repairing the sill and wheel arch on this little fiesta to get it through its mot

Again another that has turned out brilliant

Quick clutch replacement today on a Citroen c4 cactus

Nothing serious here just worn down to the rivets having covered over 100 thousand miles

Discovered an oil leak that needs attention too

We don’t claim to be the best at this but we are pretty chuffed how they turn out

Another crazy week fettling motors and saving some form what would inevitably be the scrap yard in the sky

The feeling you get when you mend something that didn’t previously run will never get old check out the last few pictures of a corsa that had head gasket failure and didn’t run
