Sampford Peverell Historic Vehicle Gathering Annual vehicle show held in August raising funds for our designated charity, Devon Freewheelers. All types of cars, bikes and tractors welcome of any age!

SPHVG started in 2007 when a few friends decided to have a get together of vehicles in a field behind a pub and give donations to the local firework fund, approximately 20 vehicles turned up. The show has continued to grow every year and for a while we changed our charity every year and have raised money for BRAKE, Devon Air Ambulance, Childrens Hospice South West and the Royal British Legion. In

2014 I heard about Devon Freewheelers and the fantastic work they do and we decided to make them our designated charity. The aim of our show is a fun, chilled day out for anyone with a love of anything mechanical. We welcome anything old or new, as long as it's your passion!

The next SPHVG on tour will be this one. I'm so excited as always wanted to visit Pembrey. Hopefully see some drifting!

As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations next year we're looking at extending things into the evening and having a disco (with an hour break to tidy up/get food)
