Important Update!

Opening Hours and Availability.

If you are planning to come to see me please telephone or message first as from now until October I will be splitting my time between the existing workshop and my new unit at Queen's Court Trading Estate, West Bromwich.

Some of you will know I had to move quickly last year due to a change in ownership of the yard on Fisher Street. The offices at Park House were the best option available to me at that time. Having found better premises I'm looking forward to the next chapter in more suitable (and spacious) premises 😊

I'll be updating soon with the full address and details of where to find the new unit.

It's been so hot in the workshop this week that I feel like I've been parboiled! So I have taken the executive decision to take tomorrow (Saturday 15 August) as a day's holiday.

Here's a pic of some work I did last week. VW "Bricks" fabric for durability, clean lines and practicality.

Adrian has been busy fitting his newly coloured seats into his Triumph Herald.

The more modern higher backed seats don't look out of place now they colour match his original interior

Nice little leather repair and recolouring job collected today.

Ian popped by today with his latest project car. I have done several jobs for him over the years, this is his 1936 Austin.

I broke my own rule and made him a carpet set (to the patterns he made) and I also made new canvas door tops for him to go with the black canvas hood.

Tonight a lucky teenager is being taken to prom in this little beauty.

Bustle About celebrated its 10 year anniversary earlier this year, today one of my early customers popped by to pick up another small job have completed for her and I took the opportunity to take photos of the seats today, after 10 years in the vehicle.

It's always great to see a happy customer, especially when they bring their pride and joy with them. Some of you may remember this interior but is the first time I've got to see this VW in it's full rebuilt glory.

In case you are wondering, my work is the interior work - the front and rear seats, the parcel shelf the door and rear quarter cards, the dashboard and the steering wheel.

It's a beautiful vehicle, and made even more special because it is the owners tribute to his mother who always loved VW Beetles
