Next up in our Meet the Team series is Martin, one of our Technicians and MOT Testers.

Although around the workshop, you'll struggle to find anyone who actually calls him Martin. To us, he's better known as Tinchie Strider or Duffey 😆

He’s always willing to lend a hand, share his knowledge and help find a solution when a tricky job comes along. His friendly nature and great sense of humour also make him a valued member of the workshop.

We’re lucky to have him as part of the team, and we really appreciate everything he does for Thirsk Car Services.

Next up in our Meet the Team series is Isaac, our Apprentice Technician.

Isaac is always keen to learn, isn't afraid to get stuck in, and has a genuine passion for the motor trade.

Whether he's helping with servicing, repairs, diagnostics, or learning new skills from the senior technicians, Isaac throws himself into every job with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

He might be the apprentice, but he's quickly learning that fixing cars is often easier than keeping up with the workshop banter.

We're excited to see Isaac continue to grow and develop as a technician—and despite what we tell him daily, we're actually glad he's part of the team!😉🚗🔧

Next up in our Meet the Team series is Tyler, the newest member of the Thirsk Car Services family!

As a Technician and MOT Tester, Tyler has hit the ground running and has quickly become a valued member of the workshop team.

He's settled into the team brilliantly and has already become a favourite target for workshop banter—which, as anyone in the motor trade knows, is usually a good sign you're part of the furniture now! 😆

We're delighted to have Tyler on board and look forward to seeing him continue to grow and develop with us.

🔧 MEET THE TEAM – MARK 🔧

Next up in our Meet the Team series is Mark – one of our Senior Technicians and MOT Testers.

Whether it's carrying out MOTs, diagnosing faults, tackling repairs, or helping out the rest of the team, Mark's always happy to get stuck in and lend a hand.

Strange noises, mystery warning lights, or that fault that's had everyone else scratching their heads? Chances are Mark's already got a good idea what's causing it.

Around the workshop, though, Mark has earned himself another title... The Care Bear 🐻💙

Always checking everyone's alright, making sure things are running smoothly, and somehow knowing when someone's having a bad day. Don't let him fool you with the dry humour and workshop banter—he's got a heart of gold really.

Just don't tell him we called him the Care Bear... he'll never let us hear the end of it. 😆

Thanks for everything you do, Mark – we're lucky to have you as part of the TCS team.

First up… the gaffer himself — Chris! 👑

Owner. Head Mechanic. Professional problem solver.

Chris has been fixing cars for years, which means he’s seen pretty much everything… including some things that should never have made it through the workshop door🤣

He’s the man the team go to when they’re stuck — although asking him a simple question can sometimes result in a 20-minute lecture about how they should’ve known the answer anyway😂

All jokes aside, Chris is the driving force behind the business and has helped take Thirsk Car Services from strength to strength, especially with all the new customers we’ve welcomed recently.
