Let’s just say it looks less like a Skoda dash and more like the Benidorm Strip at 2am!💡🍺😂

So well done lads — you built it, bodged it, swore at it and somehow drove the bloody thing to Benidorm! 🏆

🚗🇪🇸 Ready for Benidorm!🇪🇸☀️

After plenty of hard work in the workshop, Chris and Mark’s Skoda Rapid is finally ready to hit the road for its big adventure to Benidorm.

This one has been a real labour of love for the team, with a full engine rebuild carried out to get the car back to its best.

There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a project like this completed and ready to take on a journey of over 1,500 miles!

Also a big shoutout to Maiya's Elite Valeting for getting the Rapid looking absolutely spot on before it sets off. The finishing touches have really made it stand out, and it's now looking every bit as good as it runs✨🚗

📍 A visit to “Little Thirsk Role Play Village” at Monk Park Farm!

Cassie, Reeva and Ellie were hard at work today, keeping the wheels turning at Thirsk Car Services 🚗🔧⛽

From refuelling vehicles to running the workshop, our youngest team members took charge of the miniature town and made sure everything was running smoothly. We think the future of TCS is in safe hands! 😄

A fantastic day out at Monk Park Farm, where Thirsk has been recreated for little adventurers to enjoy. ❤️ With lots of exciting role-play opportunities, fun activities and plenty to explore, it’s a brilliant place for little ones to let their imaginations run wild! 🐑🎪🚜

If you’re looking for a fun family day out, Monk Park Farm is definitely worth a visit before the end of the summer holidays! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦✨

✅ Rebuild a Skoda engine
✅ Drive it to Benidorm
❓ Explain to your family why this seemed like a good idea

On 6th September, Mark and Chris will be putting their handiwork to the ultimate test as they set off for Benidorm in the Skoda they’ve rebuilt themselves.

They’re taking on this challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, helping support vital, life-saving research. ❤️

🚗❤️ Supporting Our Team for a Great Cause ❤️🚗

At Thirsk Car Services, we are incredibly proud of Chris and Mark, who are taking on the challenge of driving to Benidorm in a car they have rebuilt themselves in our workshop.

This journey is about much more than the adventure. Mark is completing this challenge in memory of his father and brother, who sadly passed away due to heart-related conditions. Together, Chris and Mark are raising awareness and funds for the British Heart Foundation and the vital work they do.

We understand the pressures many people are facing in the current economic climate, and we know that times are difficult for many families. However, every donation, no matter how small, truly counts. Every contribution helps support life-saving research and those affected by heart disease.

While most people were searching for shade, ice creams, and the nearest fan, Bethany and Alice decided it was the perfect time to give our Thirsk garage a fresh lick of paint! ☀️🎨🥵

Armed with paintbrushes and what we can only assume was an endless supply of cold drinks & Greggs (cheers Chris), they tackled the garage on one of the hottest days of last week.

Not entirely sure whether it was dedication, heat-induced madness or the hopes of an early finish but the garage is looking fantastic and we're incredibly grateful for all their hard work!

The result? A much fresher-looking garage ready for a busy filled week!
