Pinzgauer's were developed by Steyr Daimler Puch in Austria, to be a manoeuvrable and capable All Terrain Vehicle. Every vehicle has a spine chassis, with enclosed drive train, and independent suspension, combined with reduction hubs "portal Axles", creating high ground clearance, and low maintenance. The difflocks are factory fitted as standard and engage on the fly, all this provides maximum tra

ction in even the most extreme of conditions. Approximately 27,000 Pinzgauers were ever made, and in production from 1971 to 2007 of these around 7,000 were diesel models. The body variants are:
710 (4x4) & 712 (6x6) - Petrol
716 (4x4) & 718 (6x6) - Diesel
M - Soft Top
K - Hard Top with 5 doors
MK - Hard Top with 3 doors
T - Cab Chassis

As these are tough, tenacious utility vehicles, the Pinzgauer makes an ideal work horse (in fact it's named after one) they convert well to Off Road Campers, and are excellent expedition vehicles, and people carriers. At SGB All Terrain, (Shropshire Gunbus) we have contacts and customers across the world, we work closely with individuals and companies to provide a bespoke vehicle, whether you require a high spec hard top, or a standard soft top. or email [email protected].
