𝗔 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯!

One of our minibuses was put to good use last weekend as Tavistock Cricket Club Under 15's made the trip to Paignton.

The journey home was undoubtedly a happy one, with Tavistock securing a fantastic 35-run victory over the hosts! 👏

As proud sponsors of the club, it's always great to see the lads representing Tavistock so well, both on and off the pitch. We're delighted that one of our minibuses could play a very small part in getting the team there and back safely.

This month marks 10 years since I took over Rentafford, and we're delighted to say that we're heading into it with a fully booked fleet!

A huge thank you to every single customer who has supported us over the last decade. Whether you've hired a car for a holiday, a van for a house move, a minibus for a sports trip, or recommended us to friends and family, you've helped make Rentafford what it is today.

When I took over 10 years ago, I could never have imagined the support we'd receive from the people of Tavistock and the surrounding areas. We're incredibly grateful for every booking, every recommendation, every review, and every friendly face that walks through our door.

Back in May 2016, I was given the opportunity to purchase Rentafford from Brian Higgins and Farrah Tillyer of Tyremarks.

Rentafford was already a well-established family-run business with more than 20 years of history behind it, built through the hard work and dedication of Brian, Si and Farrah.

Over the last decade, time has flown by, but one thing has remained exactly the same — the family-run ethos that has always been at the heart of the business.

With my mum Carolyn working alongside me and our lovely cleaner Paul, we have continued to focus on providing honest, reliable and friendly service to every customer who comes through our doors.

Customer service remains at the forefront of everything we do, alongside offering clean, reliable vehicles and clear, straightforward rentals without unnecessary complications.

Rentafford continues to proudly support local primary and secondary schools, youth clubs, church groups, scout groups, sports clubs, local businesses and countless private hirers across the area. Whether it is for local trips, holidays, work travel, moving house, tip runs, vehicle breakdowns, hen and stag weekends, sports events or even European travel, we are so proud to play a small part in helping people get where they need to go.

We would also like to thank all the local garages and parts suppliers who continue to support us with tyres, repairs, MOTs and servicing. Without their help, Rentafford simply would not stay on the road.

Most importantly, thank you to all of our loyal customers for your continued support over the last 10 years.

Tavistock is set for a lively morning this Sunday as the Dartmoor Marathon returns, and fair play to anyone taking on those hills… we get tired just driving them! 😅

Starting in the town centre at 9am, with the first runners expected back around 11:15am, it’s shaping up to be a brilliant morning full of energy, encouragement, and that great Tavistock community spirit.

If you’re around, come down, grab a coffee, and cheer everyone on, whether they’re flying over the finish line or just very determinedly making it back! 👏

It’s always fantastic to see the town buzzing and everyone getting behind events like this. Best of luck to all the runners, you’ve earned that post-run pint already! 🍻
