We will run a story on simple up-grades and changes to make the XK8 into the CAR which was my first Jaguar many years ago. I bought Kamen the Forgotten XK8 before my daughter was happily born hence we know the years.
Bought from Piston Heads via an overpriced advert which connected me with Kamen. Lets face it we all grew up looking at Aston Martins which we cant really afford but the XJS floor pan much tweaked by TWR is in both the DB7 & XK8.
The gossip I believed was you can’t get a factory manual XK8 because it would have been quicker than the DB7 which were both owed by Ford at the time.
