💜🖤 🌬️❄️ Why Changing Your Cabin Filter Is So Important ❄️🌬️🖤💜

Your cabin filter is something many drivers don’t even realise their car has — but it plays a huge role in keeping your car comfortable, clean, and healthy.

Pictured is a cabin filter from a major service we carried out this week.

💜🖤 Another happy customer back on the road today 🖤💜

After seeing that we’re now operating as a mobile service, a friend of ours got in touch after experiencing charging issues with his vehicle.

He had recently had a new battery and alternator fitted elsewhere, but after a full day at work the battery was completely flat and the car wouldn’t start.

It didn’t take long for us to diagnose the issue — the ECU wasn’t receiving the control signal from the alternator, meaning the battery wasn’t charging correctly.

While testing the wiring, we quickly noticed the alternator loom plug wasn’t fully seated. On closer inspection, we found part of the original alternator plug had broken off and become lodged inside the loom connector, preventing it from clipping into place properly.

After carefully removing the broken piece, we were able to reconnect the plug securely with a satisfying click.

Once restarted, we confirmed the vehicle was charging correctly again and cleared the charging system fault codes from the ECU.

💜🖤 One is an all terrain, reliable, working asset…
…the other is a Suzuki Jimny! 🖤💜

We don’t normally make jokes about customers cars, but this is family so it’s okay!
Our eldest learnt the hard way why you should always get your vehicle checked out when it starts making unusual noises.
Unbeknown to us his Jimny starting making some noises a few weeks prior to finally getting too bad too drive.
The rear wheel bearing had started to fail causing the noise he was hearing. As it had continued to be driven on, it completely destroyed the bearings to the point half of the roller balls had disappeared completely, making the rear axle seals oval shaped due to the excessive movement causing the rear axle fluid to leak and badly contaminate the rear brake shoes.

Great to see so many returning faces, and lots of new customers too.
