Afternoon all, this Vw Passat was mapped by another mapper. Cheap maps are not always as much as a bargain as they seem £100 eBay ecu ect.
No boost until 3000rpm then out at 3800rpm cutting into limp mode it was a mess, data logs taken and interrogated.

So went back to basics, standard file loaded onto ecu, egr delete and then loaded the stage one.
One happy customer getting his smiles per hour again.

This was a real head scratcher of a job that a few companies had turned away or were not interested in dealing with. This Bmw ecu would not turn the engine, or communicate with any diagnostics equipment so It was surgery time.
We popped open the ecu to discover what was a mixture of water damage and a burned out board. We managed to remove all the information from the ecu using boot and then cloned the original ecu files back to the donor ecu and remove the immobiliser.
Not the most straightforward way to do the job but this ecu was dead and would not read via the car’s diagnostics port or on the bench once removed from the car.
Car is all back together and the owner gets to drive their car once again.

We are please to announce that we will have some new software and equipment arriving soon, after recently spending a few day’s training with Viezu training team we will soon have Winols5 ecu/map modification software coming and MPPS.
This opens up a huge opportunity for us to be able to provide you the customer with a real bespoke experience where we can do modifications to your cars ecu in house.

Little bench job on a Bmw today, using our Genuine MagicMotorsport flex bench mapping machine.
This is a procedure where removal of the ecu from the car is needed to do the work needed and then refitting. Not all work can be done via the obd port.
This is a specialist service we offer on top of our standard mapping.

Had a message from a customer on friday to come and address an issue with the electronic hand brake. The vehicle had been in to a garage and had the coding deleted!
We were able to retrieve the codes using our online diagnostic LAUNCH X431 PRO tablet system and reinstall the coding, set up and calibrate both hill assist and parking brake functions.
We don’t just do remapping with our fully licenced magic motorsport flex and now kess v3.
Keep following as we will soon have our purpose built mapping premises where we are able to remove the vehicle ecu, bench map, immobilisation delete but also key cloning.
