This week is mainly about AJP PR7's.. We have the Good, Bad and the Ugly or as we are now referring to it as the New, Knackered and Fubared!

Thankfully we welcome all of our AJP customers with open arms and we have the parts and knowledge to make them all as good as new again!

So if you're after a new PR7 or if you have a poorly PR7 come and see us and discuss your requirements over a cuppa and we will soon put that AJP grin back on your face again!

Morning all from a very nice bright sunny Sunday morning at Gonerby near Grantham for Rd 3 of LEC Championship.

On parade today we have the bike of beauty from AJP the SPR240! A trail bike class winning machine if ever there was one! And priced at £4999 + OTR a winner on the bank balance too.. Extreme version arrives next month!

This week has been mainly about old Army bikes! Reminds me of the old Bike Bay at 3ADTR RCT Duisburg 1986! Happy days!

Anyway! This week we had the pleasure of giving some Sportax TLC to an Armstrong MT604e now running and stopping as it should!

Two more MTs arrived in for some serious engine and exhaust work!

Don't you just love Monday mornings when the Adventure Bike Rider Festival sends you all the Exhibitor passes! Six and a half weeks to go!

Sportax Racing AJP Motos factory tour!

Last month whilst patiently waiting for more bikes to arrive, myself and a couple of old Army mates decided to ride our bikes across the Picos Mountains into Portugal and visit the new AJP factory!

What a great experience it was too! Not only the bike riding on tarmac and TET.. The warm welcome from Mr Pinto, Hugo, Marta and Paula was well received along with the access all areas tour of the factory by Hugo - test rider and AJP technical expert! We saw all of the raw materials, lazer cutters, welders, frame jigs at one end working through to sub unit assembly, engine checks and Mr Patience applying all of the graphics to plastics perfectly! There are many new upgrades in the pipeline which we will look forward to telling everyone about real soon...

When it came to lunch time Paula recommended we visit the local O Sala restaurant down town.. Well what a culinary experiance that was! On arrival a PR7 Black Edition was parked outside! We were all treated like Royalty and to some fabulous Portugese dishes, port, schnapps and sparkling wine!

We could probably have done with a siesta after that but we headed off to Thork Racing to visit the makers of the famous DMD2 software and hardware.

To finish the day off we rode the couple of miles back to AJP to pass on our appreciation and thanks for a fantastic day, fantastic food and to say good bye or as the Germans would say 'Auf Viedersehen' as we will certainly be seeing them again!

How good does the 2026 AJP SPR240 look in grey!?

We are just going through the motions of getting this model ready to be road legal in UK.

Hopefully DVLA will give us the green light real soon!

We may make this one into a demo bike so come on down and have a go on our test track and place an order for this perfect green lane trail bike!!
