This VW Touareg came in with multiple fault lights across the dashboard, and after initial checks it quickly became clear the car was suffering from water ingress.

✔️ Diagnostic process carried out to assess affected systems
✔️ Customer approved further strip-down investigation
✔️ Source of ingress traced to a failed body seam
✔️ Water intrusion had caused corrosion within wiring looms and damaged wiring

Electrical faults caused by water ingress can be some of the most time consuming issues to diagnose properly. In this case, the failed seam had allowed water to travel through the vehicle over time, leading to corrosion and wiring damage in multiple areas.
