Due to an expansion of the Parts Department, FRF Volvo in Swansea are currently looking to recruit an additional Parts Advisor to join our Parts team.
JOB ROLE: Parts Advisor
POSITION: Full Time, Permanent.
HOURS: Weekdays 8:30am to 17:00pm.
- Some irregular overtime may be required when applicable, which will be paid at time and a half rate.
LOCATION: FRF Volvo, Swansea. SA6 8QP
DESCRIPTION:
We are currently looking to recruit a full time Parts Advisor to work in our FRF Volvo Parts Department.
You will need to have worked in this line of work in the past and have the relevant experience required to fit into this position.
You will be required to have a good working knowledge of vehicle parts and you will have the ability to use computers to carry out the identification and supply of parts for all different kinds of customers (for example Retail, Trade, Online and Workshop).
You will need to be familiar with stock handling and ordering and you will also need to be familiar with creating invoices and handling payments.
The successful candidate will have:
- experience of working in the Motor Trade. Ideally this experience would have been at a franchised main dealer Parts Department or at a Motor Factor.
- experience of using the CDK Dealer Management System, (while it is not essential to have used CDK before, it would be an advantage);
- a good working knowledge of car parts;
- the ability to work well under pressure and being able to multi-task when required;
- the ability to work in a team but also to be able to work using their own initiative;
- good general computer skills including MS Word, Excel and composing emails. We expect a high standard of spelling and grammar, which will need to be shown in any outgoing emails or correspondence;
- confidence to talk to customers in person, over the phone and through emails;
- an understanding of the high level of customer care we require at all times;
- a full UK driving licence.
