Looking sharp for the weekend.

At RC Yachts we like to share things that we like to use ourselves and these two are great examples.

Tried and tested over more than ten years the Olfa XA-1 auto lock knife has been our own knife of choice for everything from sail making to chopping up cord and dismantling hundreds of boxes.

It’s a smart thing with a 13 segment snap off blade which has been double honed for extra sharpness……whatever double honed is!

We reckon the knife and replacement blades are the absolute business for our sort of modelling. Grab a cutting mat whilst you’re at it.

New charger arrives.
As we are no longer able to supply the Vapex VTE600 charger we have had to look at something different. We bought a couple and tested them and this one came out as our favourite, so we'll stock it!
It's the GT Power SD4 charger and it not only charges LiPo and LiFe batteries it also does NiMH battery packs too. It has easily controlled charge rates and is really simple to use.
We'll supply it with the correct connection so it works right out of the box with all the batteries we supply.
So, if you're looking for a simple charger that does it all then this is it.

Whilst we aren't at the DF95 Nationals this weekend we are keeping an eye on proceedings and the general conclusion seems to be L&S and it seems Uncle Derek's super floppy trim is doing him well! Good luck for day two everyone.

Monday 17th August - Another trip to hospital today as Tim needs to be stabbed in the eyes to try and make them better. Courier orders have left the building already and our smaller RM orders will be shipped by 0930. Any orders placed today will be dealt with on Tuesday 18th. Sorry for any inconvenience.

So yesterday morning our container arrived. 30 minutes later it was empty and our warehouse was somewhat fuller. We’ve spent the last 24 hours sorting and checking all the stuff we ordered is here. We’ve restocked the shop so if there’s anything you’re waiting for we more than likely have it.
