There's some sound advice here!

A safe ride starts before you even get on the road.

Doing some key checks each time you get on your motorbike or moped could make all the difference – keeping you safe, your bike roadworthy and your ride enjoyable.

Whether you're heading out for a short commute or are planning a longer trip, run through these checks before you set off:

⛽ Petrol/Fuel: check you have enough for your journey
🔧 Oil: check the engine oil level and look for leaks
💧 Water/Coolant: check levels and look for leaks
🔩 Damage: inspect for loose bolts, damaged mirrors or levers and check chain tension/lubrication
💡 Electrics: check the headlights, brake light, indicators and horn are working
🛞 Rubber: examine the tyres for damage and objects and make sure the pressure is correct

A quick check before you ride keeps you and everyone else safe on the road.

Well after nearly 20 years instructing and in that time about 5000 CBTs, and 1500 through the full licence, I have decided to retire. Joe and Jack came along today and after having to wait for the frost to clear we managed to get their CBT done, so they are the last 2 pupils I will do.
Chris is taking over from me officially on Monday the 1st of December, so it’s business as usual for Anglia Training Services but with a new man in charge.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful people that I have trained over the years for their business. I hope by introducing you to motorcycling, you have kept it safe and still enjoy riding as much as I do.
Now I have time to leisure ride, I might see some of you at the bike meets. Just don’t expect me to remember your name 🤣

It was a big well done to Joe Pasquale today who passed his mod 2 test with a clean sheet and now can’t wait to pick his Tiger up from Lings Triumph Watton. Joe has been a pleasure to train, a smashing guy (with lovely ears🤣thats a standing joke)and I look forward to giving him some more advanced lessons next year. Ride safe Joe ”Pass”quale, and if anyone is looking for a fun night out, go and see Joe At Kings Lynn corn exchange on the 21st of November.

Catherine and Andrew were all smiles today after passing the mod 2 tests after the frustration of having them cancelled last week. Well done both of you and 2 clean sheets for Catherine made it extra special👍👍. Ride safe and enjoy your bikes 🏍

What a glorious day today and so pleased to get these two guys through both tests with first time passes.
Well done Nathan and Lewis, its been a pleasure to train you. It seems a long time since you contacted me when you where still out in Mali but we kept to our schedule 👍👍
I hope Nathan kept to his promise and bought the chips tonight.

The last 2 days have been a bit of a whirl wind for Karen😊 especially yesterday 💨❄️🌨. Mod 1 passed on Wednesday and then back for the mod 2 yesterday with horrible conditions riding to Lynn. The sun came out in time though ☀️And she passed the mod 2 with glowing comments from the examiner😊. Well done Karen, its been a pleasure and I look forward to seeing you out on the Bonnie 🏍🏍

Today was the last training day of the year for me, and it couldnt have finnished better with Karen passing her mod 2 test. Thats all pupils passed for Christmas and especially nice for Karen who has one of those big birthdays tomorrow🍹🍹. I wont give your age away Karen but well done, both tests first time 👍👍cant be bad, 😊 enjoy your Ninja🏍.
