Skoda Octavia in for 2 tyres and a rear drop link

Audi a3 for rear pads and discs

Peugeot 308 for 3 tyres 2 drop links and front pads and discs

Peugeot 308 for 2 tyres and a cv boot

Vauxhall insignia for 2 tyres a service

And to finish the day off I done a full brake system bleed and replaced a top mount on a Suzuki swift

Busy day today

Starting off I had a lovely bmw 330d touring for a knocking complaint which was coming from the ball joint upon further inspection I noticed the bushes to be worn on the front bottom arm advised the customer and he opted for it to get replaced customer is now back on the road happy with a smooth vehicle

Then I had a fiesta in for a grinding coming from the front which was the brake pads worn below limit unfortunately it was to late to catch and customer needed new discs aswell

I then had a mot failure Hyundai tucson for a drop link

Then a lovely Audi a3 Quattro for 3 tyres and a new calliper

Upon the inspection I noticed the drivers side front ball join hanging out and the rear axle bushes to be worn and un roadworthy new axle bushes and new bottom arm customer is on the road with a smooth driving car

Customer rang me after her auxiliary belt had snapped. New belt fitted and upon start up there was a horrible whining/grinding noise coming from the alternator upon futher inspection the alternator pulley and one of the idle pulleys had collapsed in on itself. New alternator,idle pulley,aux, supplied and fitted customer is now back on the road.

Had a lovely Mercedes A180d in today for a MOT and service. Upon the pre Mot inspection I noticed the OSR tyre to be significantly cracked and worn which is a mot failure and also dangerous as the tyre is significantly weakened. I also noticed the rear brake discs to be in very poor condition and the pads to be worn below legal limit. New tyre and pads discs aswell as a full 12 month Mot
