This 1991 ex-Army ambulance has rolled into the workshop ready for a complete transformation. From serving its country to serving up unforgettable adventures, this unique vehicle is about to begin its next chapter.
Over the coming weeks we'll be converting this classic ambulance into a fully functional camper, ready to hit the road and make memories travelling around the UK. 🇬🇧🏕️

JOIN OUR TEAM – CAMPERVAN CONVERSION TECHNICIAN / JOINER

📍 Sunderland, North East England
Due to continued growth, On The Road Campervan Conversions is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our expanding team.
We are seeking either an experienced campervan conversion technician or a qualified joiner/carpenter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Building and fitting bespoke campervan furniture
Installing insulation, flooring and wall linings
Fitting windows, pop-top roofs and accessories
Working from drawings and specifications
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
Experience in campervan conversions preferred, but not essential
Joinery/carpentry experience essential if no campervan experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Full UK driving licence preferred
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
