Vauxhall vivaro 1.5 in for an engine replacement after dropping a valve on cylinder 4 and destroying the engine!

Its always nice to work on something new that we have never worked on before but this one put up a fight all the way to the end, canbus issues and data errors, corroded wiring loom repairs, chafed loom repairs, what threw us off was this van ran perfectly untill it dropped a valve, so we were not expecting to come into wiring issues once we had replaced the engine, the engine ran but multiple codes present and a eml, after almost 5 hours of diag and fault finding we found loom chafed in 2 places that had broken when we disturbed the loom and also a corroded plug we had never touched but must of disturbed!

All in all a testing one but we got there in the end and customer back to work! Would we do another, absolutely!

We had Wearside Vehicle Recovery fiesta st trackcar in we previously built to have the underside freshened up,
