We are looking for a qualified & suitably experienced vehicle mechanic to join the guys we already have working for us. You must be able to carry out vehicle fault diagnosis and subsequent repair to a large range of vehicles

You must be NVQ level 3 or above (or equivalent time served) and competent in any job from changing an ECU or swapping over an engine and gearbox to changing brake pads. Timing belt, clutch and DMF changing will also be expected

Other duties likely to include are:

Scheduled vehicle maintenance
Unscheduled minor and technical major repairs
Successfully diagnosing faults and finding a prompt and accurate resolution
MOT preparations
Any other reasonable tasks as deemed necessary

The ideal candidate would have experience both in a main dealer and a general garage setting, ideally mobile too, to posses the experience necessary

Be Level 3 NVQ standard or toons served equivalent as a minimum and full driving licence essential.

Be able to manage time effectively and work without direction

Have an eye for detail

Understand the importance of thorough and accurate working standards

Auto electrician knowledge would be a bonus

We have, or can get, all the lumpy equipment but having your own tools is a requirement of the job

We're really excited about this role and the successful candidate must share our level of enthusiasm and commitment towards it.

Suitable candidates will possess a UK Driving Licence, have excellent organisational skills, will be strong communicators and will possess the skills to deliver an accurate, timely and professional service. Excellent attention to detail skills are essential. Experience within a busy, fast moving environment would be preferred

Currently operating on a mobile mechanic basis (i.e.; without ramps) but there is scope to move into premises once they become available
