Ben's show car Spec-R S15 that we did a while back. Loads of work on this one...

✅ Body repairs all round.
✅ Panels & trim off, wheels off, glass-out, full repaint in original colour (including inside of panels).
✅ Rear bumper spats profiled to fit, painted and fitted.
✅ Brand new genuine spare bootlid de-locked and painted.
✅ Honda Integra splitter re-profiled, painted & fitted to front bumper.
✅ Front bumper numberplate mount holes smoothed.
✅ Headlights restored.
✅ Clear-coat blocked down for arrow-straight show finish.

Ben deserves some serious credit for the time and money he has lavished on this car since he has taken ownership, must be one of the best late S-chassis cars in the country. There's some really cool touches on this build, tbh it's almost too nice to drive! 😅 Yes, it's a sideways car on air. BUT; it's one of only two in the country in this spec/colour so it would be silly to turn this one into a drift car, right?! 😅👍🏻

✅ Classic Mini repairs and repaint escalated, now featuring arch extensions and fibreglass bonnet with bonnet pins. Some cutting and fabrication required! Repairs complete, in primer.
✅ Loads of sets of wheels this month, here's a selection. 208 GTI, Clio V6 and MSports.
✅ Saab 9000 back in for sill cover refurb, now looking factory fresh.
✅ Audi A1 complete front end repairs done.
✅ Rover 75 V6 repairs/paint complete.
✅ Very bent VW Polo sill pulled back into shape!

Another busy month, September '25...

August '25 was a busy one, managed to squeeze all of this in along with a holiday...

✅ Maxton kit fitting and a bit more paintwork on the longest Audi.
✅ Mk3 Golf Retro Rides prep.
✅ A day out at Prescott Hill Climb for Retro Rides Gathering.
✅ E36 touring stripped back down ready for engine bay repairs.
✅ Saab 9000 bonnet/front bumper repairs underway.
✅ Chop Shop's T4 van still broken (since December), needs fixing!!
✅ Next big project arrives (Classic Mini), ready for repairs & full repaint.

- E34 touring all done, new front bumper looking fresh with the addition of a magnetic front plate 😎

- Cutting up a Citroen 2CV, this one is a BIG welding job!

- Trip out to IDB Autos to strip a full E36 front end.
- E36 jigsaw puzzle assembled.

* - LEVEL UP - *

Some of you may have noticed that the surroundings have changed in our posts/stories. That's because we've moved back to Stratford...

Hanbury was a great stop-gap and we had great fun irritating Clewes Customs whilst we were there, but both businesses outgrew the premises so we've struck out on our own again!

We're back at Langley Farm Industrial Estate on the Birmingham Road in Stratford-upon-Avon. But, we now have two units... This lovely new one for all paintwork and smaller repairs, plus the old unit as a storage/resto shed.

We now have a sealed, fully insulated, heated paint-booth with industry standard filtration, dust-trap flooring, super-powerful extraction system, dedicated mixing room, air drier along with breathing-quality air supply to the spraygun. We have invested in new, better equipment on the prep side of the workshop as well as the paint side, so we're able to carry out all refinish procedures to a much higher level. It's been financially ruinous, but, I'm sure you'll agree, we're definitely a far cry from where we were a few years back!

- Eagle-eyed will have spotted the S2000 lurking out front, that's a terrible tale of rusty metal, best left for another day...

February snaps...

Most of the month went on putting the new workshop/paintbooth together. The paintbooth is shorter and wider now, which required some serious swearing and a bit of fabrication. Finally managed to get the first job out of the new place (BMW E28 welding and engine bay prep/paint), which is nice as it means all of the new stuff works! Plus, prepping a bay window (the conservatory kind, not the VW kind!).

January snaps...

Van broken still. Very cold in the new unit with no heating! Ibiza gone ☹️ -Rare loot- Audi 19s for the Alfa. New workshop taking shape, quite a lot of head scratching involved to make it a different shape/size, it's reasonably modular but parts of the roof had to be fabricated to make it work...
